Our Sunset Confessions

(Your P.O.V.)

I was sitting on top of the clock tower in Twilight Town, watching the sunset and waiting for my friends; Xion, Roxas, and Axel. Nobody knows this except Roxas and Xion, but I have a small crush on Axel.... Okay, a HUGE crush on him. It's been like this ever since I first met him, I remember it like it was yesterday. He saved me from those creatures they call the 'Heartless', and ever since then, we've been the best of friends. But I wish that we were more than that. I know that he's a Nobody and that he doesn't have a heart, but I can't help but to have feeling for him. I love him, but I know he'll never love me.

"Hey (Y/N)."

Speaking of which.

"Hey Axel! 'Bout time you showed up." I smirked, earning a smirk back. "Where's Roxas and Xion?"

"They got caught up in some stuff and can't make it, but they said sorry and they'll pay for the ice cream next time."
He said as he sat down next to me.

"Okay."

Knowing them, they probably just want me and Axel alone together.... Again.

"Here."

Axel said, smiling as he hands me a sea-salt ice cream. I smile back as I grab the bar and take a bite.

"Mmm....Thanks, Axe!"

"You're welcome."

He chuckled, seeing my reaction when I ate the ice cream. I can't help it, this ice cream's my favorite, my weakness. We stayed there and watched the sunset for who knows how long, just enjoying the peace and quiet, until Axel broke it.

"So.... You have a crush on me, huh?"

I blushed madly as I looked at him in shock. How did he find out?!

"H-H-How-"

"Xion and Roxas told me." He smirked.

CRAP! They're SO dead when I see them! I just sat there, watching him, flustered and speechless.

"I-I..."

I was cut off by something warm on my lips, Axel was kissing me.... Axel's kissing me.... Wait.... AXEL'S KISSING ME!!!! My eyes widen as my blush deepens in realization to what's going on. Before I could kiss back, he pulled away. I just stared at him, shocked and in awe.

"(Y/N), the truth is I have a crush on you, too, for awhile actually, I just never understood it until now. I realize how I feel about you.... I love you, (Y/N)."

He said with the most sincerest smile, and I could tell by the look in his eyes that it was true.... He loves me. I smile big as tears of joy form in my eyes. I give him the tightest hug as he returns it. I look at him in the eyes and what I did next, I'll never regret.

"I love you, too."

And I kissed him. And what he said next, made me smile more.

"Who needs a heart when I have you."

~Extended Ending~

"FINALLY!"

We jumped in surprise by the sudden voice. We looked behind to see an irritated Xion and a happy Roxas, fist - pumping the air.

"OWW!!!"

Xion hit Roxas on the back of his head, glaring at him as he rubs his now bruised head.

"Good going, Roxas! We weren't supposed to get caught!"

"Sorry, Xion, but I at least got the pictures!"

He grinned, but quickly wiped it away when he saw how red my face was with anger.

"So, you were here the ENTIRE time, spying and taking pics of us?!"

They chuckled nervously as they backed away slowly.

"BYE!"

They said in union as they ran down the stairs, laughing.

"XION, ROXAS, YOU EVIL LITTLE- GET BACK HERE!!!!"

I yelled as I chased after them.

(Axel's P.O.V.)

I chuckled as I watched (Y/N) chase after our friends. I gasped as I put a hand to my chest. *thump, thump* a smile appeared on my face. I guess I really do have a heart.
