Monday.

Leonie woke up at 7 a.m and walked like a zombie to the bathroom. She stared herself in the mirror and sighed heavily. She washed her face and teeth and walked out of her room to get changed to her clothes. Without breakfast she left the house.

As she turned around the corner of the bulding, shivering with the cold with only her hoodie on,her face got smashed by a card. It fell on the ground and she picked it up,looking at it curiously.

A tarot card. Leonie looked at it for a while before the card disappeared from her hands. As she looked up,a mysterious man had the card between his index and middle finger and made it disappear again.

"Say,young lady...Would you like to have a reading?" He said as he leaned on a brick wall.

"Ahh...Sorry,but no thanks...I'm kinda in a hurry so..."

"But you still have 15 minutes 'till your train leaves..." The guy said and Leonie froze. How does he now I'm going by train...Usually my brother takes me...But he's mad at me... she thought.

"Just pick nine cards..." He said and Leonie hesitated for a while before she reached out to a pack of tarot cards that were in the hands of this mysterious man.

"Now,give them back to me..." The guy said and Leonie did as she was told. The guy placed the cards on a car, parked on the street and smiled.

"The first card, the significator, is placed in the center of the cross. This card represents the prime energy manifest in your life. Aquarius: A friendly humanitarian, honest and loyal to a fault. A perceptive communicator with strong intuitions about human nature. Independence and intellectual inventiveness, coupled with a drive towards the eccentric..."

An aquarius? Do I know any?

"The second card, placed above the significator, represents Air. It describes your spirit, process of thought, and the influence of reason. Four of Cups,Luxury, when reversed: New and unusual relationships and opportunities. The reawakening of your appetite for life or love. The path of excess leading to spiritual rejuvenation and the appearance of novel ambitions."

This doesn't make any sense... Leonie thought

"The third card, placed to the right of the significator, represents Fire. It describes your motivations, creative energies, and the influence of passion. King of Swords, when reversed: The dark essence of air, such as a gray sky: A mature leader of unyielding ethics and absolute authority. An incorruptible judge, whose devotion to the letter of the law cannot be swayed by emotion, mercy, or exigent circumstances. Perfect clarity of thought, excessive use of force, and mastery of language as a tool for deception. One who, like a great tyrant, inspires not love or devotion, but fear, respect, and obedience." He smiled and placed the fourth card on the car.

"The fourth card, placed below the significator, represents Water. It describes your emotions, meditations, and the influence of love. Nine of Wands,Strength: A pause in the current struggle to ready oneself. Preparation to meet the final conclusive onslaught. Forces assembled in anticipation of trials and tribulations. The steeling of the will to stand or fall. A line drawn in the sand."

Does he mean a war? What is all this? Leonie thought to herself as the man placed a fifth card on the car.

"The fifth card, placed to the left of the significator represents Earth. It describes your physical presence, position in life, and the influence of the material world. Queen of Coins, when reversed: The dark essence of earth behaving as water, such as ice: A cold but generous host, driven by an overwhelming need for to accumulate and maintain opulence. A person so preoccupied with wealth and security that they can never stop to enjoy either. One who reflects the weaknesses of others, breeding suspicion and mistrust."
