Scarlett's POV
I started feeling a bit dizzy and sleepy."Oh shit...they activated the gas tanks." Tide said sleepily."What do you...what?" I laid down. But I didn't realize I laid down in Jack's lap. I heard a door open. I saw a man slowly walk closer to us."Grab them!" I heard a mans voice. Then I dozed of into the dark.

Lester POV
The sleeping gas tanks were activated causing a gloomy gas to seep through the room. After a while they were drowsy and finally went to sleep. Perfect. Time to put the plan into action. Now to make sure Conna is next I'll get her ready."Take them to the Screamer lab." Everything is coming together. My men, dragged them out of the room. I saw Conna and Dan walk in."Hey, Dr Lester, what's going on? Is everything ok?" Dan watched the two as they were being dragged unconsciously through the halls."Yeah and where are you taking them?" Conna continued.

"Everything is fine. I looked at the security cameras and saw them unsupervised. I had step in." I said in a calm, stern matter."They were fine. Dan was coming to get them." I glared at Conna. She might ruin my plans."Well, it's a bit unusual for 108 to get out like this, she's been here the longest and should know better. As for 109, his tests are still incomplete. And now that the Septic Tank is destroyed, we'll need to continue them...elsewhere." came up with an excuse.

"Why do you treat us like some kind of number game? We all have names and we all have something that makes us human. That's all we are."Conna clenched her fists. Silly girl."You're wrong. You are obviously not human, no experiment here is. It's all about your sensitivity to adaptation and your genetics as well as mutation. You are all mutants! Nothing more, nothing less. You all are nothing but in human, disgusting looking monsters! Go back to your cell now!" I yelled.

Dan POV
"I was shocked at what he said. How can he be so insensitive. I looked at Conna...she was crying. She loosend her hands and looked down."Conna I-" she put her hand up and cut me off."No...I-it's ok. I understand what's been said Dr Lester. I-I apologize." She sniffed. She started walking back to her apartment cell. I followed her and put my hand on her shoulder. She quickly shook it off."Hey Conna." She ignored me. We walked into the apartment cell and Conna ran to her room.

I sighed and sat in the chair next to Mark and put my head in my hands. I decided to leave her alone for a while."Things ok? Where's Jack and Kishi?" I didn't notice he was awake."Oh, you're awake. How do you feel?" I wanted to avoid this subject."I'm feel fine I guess, I heal...fairly fast. And again, where's Kishi?" I sighed again."Dr Lester got them. He said he saw them unsupervised and I guess their being punished." Mark looked confused."That can't be it, surely Kishi told told him, I was injured?" I messed up my hair in frustration."Look I don't know what happened ok! I came when they got taken away, I don't know what happened in between."

"Well, someone's a grumpy bitch..." He crossed his arms and looked away in a sass way."I'm sorry Mark. I'm just frustrated. Dr Lester said something to Conna and I don't know how to help her." Mark sat up more and looked at me."Just talk to her dude." That wasn't cliche or cheesy at all Mark."What do I say."

"Look her in the eye sand tell her she's no different. Tell her she's unique in her own way and most importantly....tell her she's beautiful. Believe in her Dan." Wow, I wasn't expecting that. But he's right."Thank you Mark, I owe you one!" I walked to her room and stood at her door.

I heard her scream and I think she punched the wall too. I wish I could comfort her. But I just can't...she's different. I have no right to love her...and I do. But...I can't let that stand in my way of her feelings! I run into her room."Conna I-" I gasped. She was curled up in the corner of her room crying. But that's not what shocked me. She was in a beast form. A combination of very dangerous and some mythical animals. It includes the ears, tails and kanines of a fox kitsune. (A Japanese, nine tailed fox and powerful God) The sharp claws of a black bear, the growl of a tiger and a scream like a banshee and the voice of a demon. Her eyes glowed a dark purple. But to me, she was still the same.

I've never really seen it before. It's super rare that she ever shows it.

I cautiously walk up to her."Hey Conna-" I touched her. She growled at me. I stood back."Leave me alone...I'm dangerous." I sat next to her and pulled her close into my chest."You may be dangerous...but that doesn't change how I see you or how I feel about you." I held her. I could tell she was blushing. She was clinging onto my shirt."H-how do you feel about me?" She sniffed."I think you're unique. You're you. You do the things you love to do even though you're trapped in this place. You're outgoing and...c-cute." She giggled a little. She sat up and hugged me.

But what I didn't realize, was that she was changing. Everything but her Fox features. They were black. I hugged her back and told her."You're no different than me. I-I...I love you Conna..." I blushed.

"D-Danny...I-I Lo-" she was cut off...
