GENERAL INTRODUCTION
Studying of history of Africa is intended to know the important historical events that marked the history of Africa since pre-colonial times up to date. Contribution of history of Africa to the history of the world. Such as the cradle land of man kind, great civilizations of Africa, empires of West Africa etc.
This module will be characterized by progressive evaluation tests to measure students’ academic achievements.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
Ø The course will enable students to know the sources that contributed in the writing of African history.
Ø Enrich them with the great civilizations that took place across Africa continent.
Ø Present the relations between Africa and the west before, during and after colonization and the impact of this relationship to Africa.
