Scott clutched his knife in his hand as he watched the scene from the slitted closet door. To his left was Mr. Baxter, his next victim. Straight ahead was his body guard, which he knew he would have to take out, also. He hated double missions.
"I swear on my life, Remus," the guard said, raising his hands up in surrender. His voice was low and grizzly, almost. "I didn't see anything on the surveillance cams. Whatever it was, it was just some kids fooling around or something."
Scott smirked as he listened. Cutting himself out of footage was something that he learned pretty quickly after his dad went to jail. Never again would he get caught. Him and his father were not the same.
Monster or not, neither of the men he was spying on had enough sense to check the inside.
When your cams go out, so do your eyes.
"Go check again," Baxter insisted, dismissing him desperately with his a wave of his hand. "Come back when you're sure it's safe."
As soon as he head the door slam and the footprints fade, Scott knew that it was time to shed more blood among the wealthy.
He lunged out of his hiding place, knife up. The old man stumbled back into one of the dusty bookcases that lined the walls. Scott filled the gap in.
"P-please don't k-kill me!" Remus stuttered, closing his eyes tightly. "I promise that I paid the bill!"
"I applaud you for your bravery on working with criminals," Scott said lowly. "And not paying them back."
"Oh god," he wailed. "I have a wife! And two cats!"
"Yeah? Well you should've thought about them before you gave us fake payments." With that, Scott stepped forward to plunge the weapon into the older man's chest. He stabbed violently, pinning Baxter to the wall until he couldn't hold himself up anymore. He stepped away, and the man slumped to the ground in a pool of his own dark red blood.
"Pleasure doing business with you," he said as he strolled calmly out the room.

Scott slid the file in front of the board, pushing it into their direction. The head, a short man with a rat face and an awful haircut reached for the envelope, thumbing through it briefly. He then sat it back down.
"Glad to see that you haven't gotten sloppy yet, Hoying. Nice work."
From the end of the table, a women with beady eyes slid another envelope toward the blonde, this one smaller and sealed tightly.
"It's all there. Now get the hell out of here. Be back tomorrow."
Scott left the room without a word.
