Casey's POV:

I was sitting in the waiting room tapping my foot rapidly

It'a been an hour since Brennen is in the emergency room 

I got up and starting pacing around the room back and forth 

I was stopped when i felt hands around my hips 

I turn around "Corey!" i wrapped my arms around his torso and pulled him into a hug

(A/N *rolls eyes cuz Casey is a hoe* Now i know that must of y'all know that Corey in real life has a gf but this is fiction so just think that he single af and wants Casey so bad, okay? okay now back with the story lmao)

"W-what if he's not okay?" i said

"I promise you he will be fine" he said as i pulled back and stared into his eyes

"How do you know?" i said 

"I've been friends with him for a really long time.He's strong, He's gonna be okay" he said as i smiled and he smiled back 

"Ms.Sandoval" i heard the nurse call me 

"Yes?" i said 

"I just got news from the doctor that Mr.Taylor is in a coma but we've been told that he could be out weeks or months due to the severe amount of blood he lost" the nurse said as my heart dropped 

I completely lost it

"No no no!" i said as i ran out of the hospital

Tears were falling down my face

I didn't know where i was going but i went faster

Corey's POV:

"Casey!" i said as she kept on running

"Thanks, i'll be back" i said to the nurse as i ran out the hospital

"Where in the hell did she go?!" i say to myself as ran faster

"Casey!" i said as i kept on running

Fuck, i gotta find her ASAP

I kept running until i saw a person on a hill

I look closely and see it's Casey 

"FUCK" 

i said to myself as i ran up the hill 

"Casey! what the fuck are you doing?!" i said

"Everyone needs to stop promises that they can't keep" she said while crying as she took a step forward

"Don't do this! don't take another step!"i said as she took another step forward

I ran over and tackled her 

I stood up with her, still in my grasp

"Let me go!" she said as she started crying harder while kicking me 

"I'm not letting you go and kill yourself" i said 

"Why not?!" she said 

"Are you insane?!" i said

"I don't know..." she said as she stopped fighting my grasp

"What if he's dead, huh?" she said

"Casey...I-i can't...i-i won't l-let that happen" i said 

she sniffed and turned around

"Everything is gonna be fine, it just takes a little time" i said 

"Fine" she said as she hugged me tight and cried
