"I don't want to go Stacy, I'm too worn out!" I explained to my best friend.
"Felicia come on! Since the first time I saw that poster, I told you I want to go to that gig. And I want to see who the surprise band is," Stacy complained, "I haven't been to one in ages, college is taking up all my time."
"Well I have sixth form and that's killing me. Why don't you just go with the others? You're closer to them than I am because you all go college together."
I rolled over on my bed, pushing my face into my fluffy, comfortable pillow that was teasing my sleepiness. Stacy wanted to go to a gig at this new club, we were meant to be going with a group, but Stacy didn't want to go without me. Stacy jumped on my back, shaking me, "pleeease Felicia! It won't be the same without you."
I pushed her off the bed and jumped up, "okay, I'll go, but you're buying my first drink...actually, my first two drinks."
She sprung up, "yeees, fine, I promise. By the way, you're staying at mine tonight."
I couldn't be bothered to ask why. Stacy put her big 'Paul's Boutique' bag on my bed. She took out her party clothes, curlers and the rest. She obviously knew she could convince me to go. I smiled a little. I looked in my wardrobe and picked out my plain, tight, black dress with the low cut top. It came mid-thigh, and was sleeveless. I looked in the mirror. Stacy came and stood next to me. She had the exact same dress on, but hers was red. The red went well with her slightly tanned skin, and the black mixed perfectly with my caramel chocolate coloured skin. I remembered the day we bought them, I had a flashback of us in the exact same position looking in the mirror and getting excited because we loved them. The dress tightly hugged my curves flatteringly and showed off my legs that looked so long with my heels on. I was surprised, I hadn't gone out in a long time and yet I still looked alright and could walk in heels better than anyone I know. Stacy looked flawless, as usual.
Stacy put her IPhone in my docking station and put music on. I started feeling pumped.
She started curling her long, blonde hair. My room was quite small so we were pretty cramped, but we still had plenty of space so that she could curl her hair and I could straighten mine.
Stacy broke the silence, "Felicia, what is it with you and One Direction?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you always go on about them, you want to get everything you see with their name on, and you always listen to their music."
"Well, I like them obviously. I love their story and the way they act, just loving life and living it to the max, and how grateful they are to their fans and what they have. And I love their music, they're just different to other boy bands and all that. And I don't just listen to their music, I listen to loads of others as well. I can't wait to go see them in concert."
"Fair enough. They are pretty great," Stacy smiled.
We finished our hair and she asked how she looked. Her blue eyes popped out, thanks to her gorgeous long eyelashes. I replied, "stunning, I hate you."
She smiled. "You look pretty damn gorgeous yourself, you've grown, you're legs have got longer."
We laughed. We quickly put on our makeup and my One Direction's perfume 'Our Moment'. I got my River Island bag. I put my trainers in there, I don't know why, its just something I've always done. Just in case my heels annoyed me. I put our makeup in there and the perfume. It smelled perfect, I didn't even know it was One Direction when I first smelt it, that fact that it was One Direction just made me happier. We walked downstairs. I looked in the Living Room and mum wasn't there, and my brother and sister were out. We went in the kitchen and I got out the Jack Daniels. I filled two shot glasses and we both chugged them down. Then we had another one. I put it away and put the glasses by the sink. By the time we were leaving out the front door, I felt hyper and excited.
