I back up against the rock ignoring the pain in my back.

I feel warm liquid running down my thigh and look down at the red blood dripping out of it.

Looking back up to the man, he steps closer to me. I immediately stand and throw a punch to his face, but he catches my fist and punches my gut. Groaning I stand straight and kick his leg, he staggers but recovers quickly, with my fist still tight in his grip.

Tightening his grip even more and twisting my fist, I hear a crack and pull my hand away, cradling it with my other hand close to my chest.

Now I'm just mad. This bitch is getting on my nerves.

He has a sly grin plastered on his face that fires my anger further.

I bend down and pick up a big rock, throwing it fast enough to where he couldn't duck. It hit his head and he fell back.

I began to limp back towards Lucas, knowing that this guy would catch me if I tried to go any further through the woods.

I started feeling a bit light headed from all the blood gushing out of my thigh and grunted in frustration mixed with pain.

I looked ahead. Lucas was on the porch and looking pissed. He slammed the door shut, and began to run towards me.

I was honestly internally shitting my metaphorical pants.

But I kept moving towards him as he did the same.

He finally reached me and enveloped me in his arms before gently pushing me behind him.

Running towards the bald man who was now standing, he threw a deadly punch to his face, showing his fangs.

The man fell hard to the ground, but Lucas gave him a mere second just to feel the ground before he picked him up by the throat. The man's feet dangled above ground, his hands tried to pry Lucas's off as he struggled for air.

All I could think of is how I would be in so much trouble later. Lucas will be so mad.

As I waited for Lucas I laid on the hard ground, closing my eyes. My body was too weak to try to go back on my own.

"Kya!"

I was awoken by the screaming of Lucas. His voice clearly told me he was panicked and worried. I tried to open my heavy eyes, but I couldn't seem to. I couldn't move.

In my mind I was screaming back at Lucas telling him I was okay. Trying my best to move my lips but nothing happened. I hate hearing him so worried.

His voice seemed to get farther away from me, it became less and less until nothing at all.

Suddenly my body jerked up and I was now sitting up in bed with a beeping sound coming from my right side. I looked around the room for Lucas but it was empty other than me and this machine.

I noticed the shower running in the bathroom.

I looked down at the tubes that were connected to the machine and trailed them back to my arm. Pulling them out, the loud sound of a long drawled out beep came from the machine. I cringed at the noise, standing up and walking over to the door of the bathroom.

My thoughts were fuzzy and my vision was slightly blurred, but I needed to see Lucas.

Noticing the shower stopped, a few seconds later the door opened revealing a wet and alarmed Lucas. His towel was hanging low at his waist.

His face changed in a split second once he saw me, going from scared to relieved.

I smiled weakly at him before being enveloped in a warm hug.

My body completely relaxed against his as I buried my head in his chest.
