The amount of times Chani has ignored you this month is disgusting. He even forgot your anniversary together and spent his time working.

Sliding down into the couch you internally screamed not wanting to wake your sleeping boyfriend. Chani has always been such a sweetheart when it came to your relationship but ever since he got a job and got promoted to being the manager he started spending less time with you and more time working.

Yes working and getting money is an important part of life but Chani could atleast have the heart not to forget that he's in a realtionship that needs commitment and work from both people.

You silently took your time venting out your anger and relationship problems to your bestfriend before slipping into bed next to Chani and falling asleep.

Slowly waking up to the sound of silence and to the sight of an empty bed beside you. You sighed and dragged yourself out of bed quickly getting ready for your normal boring day at home.

Sitting at the dinning table you grabbed the book across from you and starting flicking through the pages and settling on page 127. You sat there reading the book. Slowly taking in every word, picturing the characters taking on their challenges and their every movement till you reached the end.

Happily smiling to yourself you set the book down but up in the bookshelf. Taking a sharp intake of breathe you jumped onto the couch and started watching the last episode of Scarlet Heart.

Holding back your tears you quickly fanned your eyes trying to coax the tears back. Giving into the sadness you broke down and started crying. But you couldn't cry for long when your phone started ringing.

Wiping away your tears you answered the phone and cleared your throat. "Hello?"

Not receiving a clear answer but rushed mumbling you furrowed your brows and spoke up again "Hello? Anyone there?" Pulling the phone away from your ear you checked the caller ID and identified the number as Chani's.

"Chani? Babe what's wrong? Chani answer me!" The other line was silent for a while till a what sounded like a man answered nervously "Sorry miss Y/n, Chani seems to be sick and we need someone to take him home." You sighed in relief and told the man you will be there in 20mins.

You quickly drove to Chani's workplace and picked up your sick boyfriend. Obviously using the help of others to get him in the car.

Arriving home you rushed Chani to the couch and gave him medicine.

You sighed and dabbed away the sweat on his forehead. "How foolish of you... Leaving to go to work without saying goodbye to me, then getting yourself sick. How can you be so selfish Chani? You should think about me too Chani... Ever since you got that job We never go out on dates and I have always been at home alone..." You silently mumbled to yourself hoping Chani would be listening to this as he slept.

Chani slowly opened his eyes and grabbed your hand bringing it to his lips "I would kiss you now and apologize on my knees if I weren't sick right now... Y/n... I'm so sorry that I haven't given enough of my time to you, but tomorrow when I feel better we can go out to wherever you want and you can get whatever you want I promise!"

A small smile spread across your face and you wrapped you arms around Chani then kissed him "Y/n you'll get sick!" Chani pushed you away but you didn't care about getting sick right now and kissed him again.
