Dean’s hand started to shake has he held the old bone for the first time in what felt like centuries. His eyes were filling with hate and anger as a murderous gaze fell over his eyes.

“Dean please…please you gotta hang on! Please I believe in you! You need to fight it!” the Angel begged as he saw his best friend give in to the pull of the blade. Dean rushed the Angel pinning him to the wall by the neck. Staring deep into the angels blue tear filled eyes.

“Dean please! This isn’t you!” the elder Winchester said nothing as the slowly brought the first blade up to the trench coated angels chest resting the old bone on the angels heart.

"Dean please! I believe in you! I love you! Please! I love you more then there are stars in the sky!” Dean said nothing. His eyes said it all. They screamed for murder, but also sought forgiveness. Without a word he plunged the bone through Castiels heart. Tears rolled down Cas’ face as he screamed, his eyes glowed blue as his wings burned on the wall. Dean released his grip on the blade leaving it in cas’ body. As he did his eyes widened in terror as reality set in and he realized what he had done.

“N-no…no no no…what have I done! CAS!” tears started to roll down his face. He held cas’ head by the back of his neck and tried to keep cas standing.

"I’m so sorry. What have I done!” he was desperate for cas to still be alive.

"Cas I love you! Please come back to me! I’m sorry! Oh my god what have I done!” he picked up cas’ body and carried the lifeless corps to his room. He laid Castiel down on his bed still crying. Dean pulled the first blade out of cas’ chest.

“I’m so sorry Castiel. You have fallen so far just for me…and I took it for granted.” the Winchester took a deep breath and put the blade up to his heart.

“I’m so sorry cas….I’m sorry.” he rammed the blade through his own heart and feel to the floor dead. He couldn’t live with out cas. He couldn’t live with the feeling of having killed the person he loved. Hours passed. And as the eldest Winchester opened his eyes. They were black.
