Chapter1
"Oh my gosh! NO WAY!" Nathan exclaimed excitedly. I had proudly just announced that we had made it into the same college, University of Georgia Southern.
"Way!" I exclaimed as he pulled me in for a light kiss. His lips gently brushed mine and my heart began to race. I kissed him back pressing my lips hard on his, he wrapped his arms around me playing with my light red hair. I closed my eyes and let his warmth flood into me like an electric shock. This happened every time we touched.
You see were soul mates, as in we were made for each other, put on this earth just to be together. Were bonded by some magical line that holds us together. It's a wonderful feeling really, it truly is. But there's a catch. If you have a soul mate your not human. Were part of this society called The Night Society. The Night Society consists of witches, vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, fairies/pixies, elves, ogres, and basically any other magical creature imaginable.
And if my life wasn't complicated enough already there's another problem. Im a vampire and he is a warlock, and in The Night Society races aren't supposed to interbreed. So its basically illegal for me to be with Nathan, even if he is my soul mate. Yea my life is basically screwed up!
