The thunder crackled, and the winded roared through the trees. Branches fell to the ground below, and leaves were pulled off their branches. A figure darted through the night, dodging falling branches, trying to escape something that was behind it. It's head looked back, seeing the figure behind her falling behind. "No use in trying to fly" the creature thought, slowing down to a slow jog. Rain started to pelt against the trees, and the creature came up across the field, the creature looked across, looking for a threat. It began to walk into the field, the rain fully pelting the creature. It looked to the north and saw even darker clouds, "Great, it's going to get worse." It found a rock, and found it had a hole underneath it walked into it, curling up into a ball and falling into a deep sleep.
The sun shone brightly into the creature's eyes, it blue eyes blinking awake before crawling out of the hole. It looked around, it took a step forward, broken branches crunching under its food. The scales that covered its body was covered in scars, the biggest one of her face. It raised it's head, sniffing the air. It started walking, towards the forest, seeing if anything suspicious was in the dark forest. A strong breeze was still blowing from the storm last night, the breeze was cold, raindrops from the leaves on the trees fell on the creature. It had curved teeth that came from its jaw, opening and closing it's mouth. It's long neck glanced around, trying to see if anything was into the forest. It's eyes seemed to glow in the darkness, it walked out of the forest and spread its wings. Taking off into the sky, birds flew up into the sky, shrieking as the dragon had taken off. It glanced around, seeing a giant river and started to head in that direction "Maybe there's fish in river, i'll finally get to eat" the dragon thought, landing on a bank next the the river. It flared its wings as it saw the houses of humans "I've been asleep for one hundred years, and these humans have taken all my land" it thought grumpily, as it stood on the bank glancing for fish. It felt a stab in its leg, it looked backed, seeing a trap around it's leg and a human standing about twenty feet away. The dragon roared, firing a beam of ice at the human. The human dodged, the dragon stumbled a bit before falling to the ground, hearing the human speak "Operation SilentHunter, Nightcaller has been captured" before falling into unconsciousness. Trucks and cars began to fill into the small inlet the unconscious dragon laid, and put her into a truck and drove off.
The dragon woke up in a metal cage, it's mouth closed shut by a metal wire, and it's legs shackled to the floor. It's eyes glanced around, seeing machines surrounding it. It tried to move its wings, but they were chained together by a metal wire. It turned it's head to the clicking of footsteps on the cement floor, and the dragon growled as he passed.
"You can try all you want to escape, you aren't going to break these metals like you have in the past Nightcaller."
The dragon snorted, then continued to growl, practically saying "Come near me-I dare you" It stood up, as its legs had room to move.
"Name: Nightcaller Age: Unknown Gender: female" the scientist mumbled to himself "Outdated, maybe we can finally control you Night, as are glorious new weapon."
The dragon shook its head, they had tried that once before, and it hadn't worked the first time. Her tail lashed around in anger
"They think they can keep me in this cage," Nightcaller thought smugly "I've gotten out before I can do it again"
"Okay Nightcaller, time for your first test" the scientist said "Test #1: Electricity" He pulled on a lever, electricity ran through the cage, surprising Nightcaller. It gritted it's teeth in pain and tried to break the shackles. After about five minutes, the electricity stopped, Nightcaller dropped to the floor and was shaking from pain.
"Dear Sol that was painful," she thought, trying to take in a breath. She eventually stopped shaking.
"Test #1: Electricity. Failed. Can get struck by electricity" the scientist said, shaking it's head and walking out the door "I hope the commander isn't mad"
