The sin of a dull star,
The ugly presence of a waning moon,
The all evil darkness,
Have you beheld ugliness?
In the cradle of the night,
Where secrets are all that are held,
We are hidden away,
No worldly fragment shall pierce the slumber..
The eyes of the soul of the unwanted,
Our cold fingers shyly intertwined,
Forming a chain, a bond of lonely hearts,
United in the shadow of our outcast..
A beautiful song sung on the moon,
A sculpture carved on rusted steel,
E yes without vision, existence without a soul,
A beauteous heart inside ugly flesh..
But who be patient enough?
In this race against time,
To stop to ponder such worthless clandestine!
So, let us fade away in a bower of the beautiful..
The nights become days,
The sun succeeds the moon,
Yet beyond this glamorous world,
A deep darkness lies..
We all laugh silently even..hush! do not be loud,
For, if we are heard, this canopy would fall,
And exposed to the bright sun,
How are we to fight our war?
Without weapons, in an empty world,
With the curse that we are born with,
The ancient chains trailing our footsteps,
Even this weak sound of metal scraping the ground is so deafening!
In the end, as a joke to thine glorious self,
I understand, I have no right to ponder,
But tell me dearest, before I bequeath myself to your blazing amusement,
Is ugliness the deepest of all darkness?
