Secrets (A Smaude Fanfiction)

Chapter 3:

Maude's POV

I woke up feeling completely rested and enveloped in warmth. I slightly turn to see a shirtless Sam behind me fast sleep. He looked adorable and sexy all at the same time wrapped up in my blankets. I decided to get up and make breakfast for us.

I was in the middle of flipping pancakes, when shuffled into the kitchen. He leaned against the counter as he wiped his sleepy eyes.

"Good morning Sam," I greeted.

"What are you doing up so early?" He asked, genuinely confused.

"Making breakfast, duh Bunny," I laughed, putting the pancakes on a plate.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the table, placing his plate in front of him.

"Eat, you'll wake up" I giggled.

We ate in comfortable silence, and a full awake Sam said he had to at least go home and shower and change clothes. He told be he'd see me later as he put Dwight in the car, how was not happy leaving Zelda, and clothes the door. We kissed. We planned to maybe go do something later. He left.

Without Sam and Dwight, the house almost felt empty. Zelda and I decided to have a lazy day. Staying in my PJs and watching a movie.

Sam's POV

Leaving Maude made me realize how much she meant to me. I never wanted to be away from her for a long time. Maybe it's just because we're in the Puppy Love phase, but I felt real love.

I got home, letting Dwight in the house, and went to my room. Grabbing a flash shirt, some jeans, and underwear I went to get my shower. Afterwards hopping on Netflix, watch The Office episodes for like the sixth time. It never got old.  At 3 pm I decided to text Maude

Sam -So you wanna to hang out-

Maude -Sure meet me at The Grove in 2 hours-

Sam - Sure, see ya there😘-

Maude's POV

An hour to get ready. Jumped in the shower and got dressed quick. A casual but cute outfit. Grabbing my keys and getting in my car. A 15 minute drive turned it into half an hour because of traffic. Once I finally pulled into a spot I was thankful. Practically running to the entrance, I was met with my favorite smile face.

"Hey" he smiled.

"Hi, remind again who's idea it was to come here on a Saturday?" I asked almost out of breath.

"You! Now let's go to hot topic." He laughed, grabbing my hand.(there's not actually a hot topic but oh well)

When we're looking around. A girl about fifteen came up to us.

"Hi aren't you guys Sam and Maude from Sourcefednerd?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes, and you are? I responded almost as enthusiastically.

"Tessa," she said, "Can I get I picture with you guys?"

Sam and I exchanged looks, knowing that it she posted it the shippers would go crazy but also not wanting to be mean.

"Sure," Sam nodded.

Sam's POV

This would be the time we met a fan. I smiled for the photo, and knowing it the shippers will love it, draped my arm over Maude. Who instinctively leaned into me. The girl, Tessa, took a picture and we all talked for a bit. After she left Maude gave me a look.

"The Smaudience will love that," she joked.

I had to agree. The rest of the evening was quiet, we decided to grab some dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Maude got up to go to the bathroom and that's when I checked my phone. My Twitter was blowing up, the fan had definitely posted the photo. Most were just saying how lucky the girl was, but I few we're digging way to deep into things. Saying stuff like "This totally means they're dating" and "Look how there posing!! #smaude confirmed" I just laughed at most of them. Only if they really knew.

"What are you laughing at?" Maude asked, when she returned.

"That fan, Tessa, posted the photo," I said showing her my phone, "The responses are just funny."

"Well we knew that was gonna happen, you try to egg them on," she laughed.

"I know, but's just so fun to mess with them" I smirked.

"You're pure evil Sam Bashor," she said

Dinner was good, Cheesecake Factory always was. We walked back to the parking lot, and I walked her to her car. Swinging had and just in overall content of the perfect lazy day. Maybe I should be nervous about the fan photo but it's not like she caught us acting couple-ly. Friends go to the mall all the time, we could just laugh it off.

"I really liked this chill day," Maude sighed, cuddling into me.

"Me too," I said, kissing her forehead.

Pulling back, I gave her a sweet kiss and let her get into her car.

"Goodnight Bunny" she smiled up at me.

"Night" I said, and walked to my car.

Maude's POV

I went to sleep as soon as I hit the pillow I woke up cold, missing Sam's warmth. I checked my social media and was shocked by what I saw. Pictures of Sam and I holding hands and being cuddle-ly

"Fuck"
