Hunter's Pov
I have been searching for my mate ever sense I turned eighteen. That was two years ago. As the Alpha of my pack, I my mate to be a good leader. Even if my pack is the smallest in the US, we are growing and I need my mate so that I can be complete and have the power to lead them all. So I have been visiting all the pack over the last two years, with ten of my men, to try and find this mate of mine.
Today we, my men and I, are visiting the Blue Moon Pack. It is one of the last packs on my list. I am hoping she is here but at the same time I'm not. This pack has a reputation for beating their women.
As my men and I pull onto the long driveway leading to the pack house, I feel my wolf getting excited.
"She is here." I tell my men through the pack link.
Grins appear on their faces as they all let out whoops.
"Finally!" most of them link back excitedly.
My men are just as excited as I am to find my Luna. They want to meet the one they would all die to protect.
As we pull up to the house, my wolf begins chanting in my head.
"Mate, mate, mate, mate..."
I laughed as I blocked him out. As my warrior, Ben, knocked on the door, I was pacing the porch.
"Alpha," he said, "your making all of our wolves go crazy."
"Sorry," I replied, stopping in front of the door just as it was opened.
"Welcome to the Blue Moon Pack." Alpha Richard said as we entered.
I wasn't paying much attention to him. I was to busy looking around searching for my pretty little mate. But all I saw was a wisp of brown hair disappear around a corner upstairs. My wolf was yelling at me to go after her.
"Mate." he whined.
"We have to make a good impression on Alpha Richard. We will see her later." I told him.
He whined but curled up in his corner and shut me out.
"I hope." I thought as I followed everyone into the dining room. "I hope."
