Sunday

We got up early today just so we could get ready to graduate looking our best. Kimi was wearing a beautiful white dress, Lil wore a blue powder dress that was above her knees, Dil, Phil, Chuckie, and I wore tuxes. I got up extra early to fix Chuckie's lion's mane of hair. Later on in the day we took our final walk in the school gym, we were graduating finally!

"And here is our top student Thomas Pickles, with a video and speech," the director of schools announced.

" Graduating is such a scary thought, I dedicated my last half of my year on my video project for graduation per special request from our principal," I got up on stage and started talking. "The video I am about to show you shows that no matter where you are in life determination strides above all."

I flipped on the movie projector and someone turned off the lights. The first picture was of some classmates freshmen year, as the video continued it showed the same students through out their high school life up until Senior year. "Our future is our future we make it what we make it!" flashed on the screen, ten minutes in I was called off stage for a few minutes to answer some questions for the school news paper and the town's paper. As I'm out side of the gym in the hall I heard a gasp come from the gym I walk in to see messages that I never even put into the video, I guess all of my friends added something to it, Then Chuckie's video message came up "To everyone that we are leaving behind always work towards your goals, you might just get the job you want or go to the college/University you want, or you could just end up..." the video stopped playing and I went to the stage to see what was wrong which was nothing, I turned around to see Chuckie behind me with a microphone and continued where the video stopped at.

"Or you could just end up with someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, I don't know where I would be if I hadn't had been friends with my best friend Tommy, but he is not just my best friend, he is someone I cherish with all my heart and mind, so I have question for you Thomas Malcolm Pickles....." Chuckie got on his knee and spouted the words I thought I would be saying at one point in my life, " will you do the honor of making me the happiest person on this Earth and marry me?"

I gasped at the question then smiled, I never expected Chuckie to ask me this especially right now, " Yes!" I exclaimed. He put a handmade engagement ring on my finger he stood up and I jumped into his arms he held me there for what felt like forever then I realized we are still in graduation so I got down straighten myself up only to find tons of people behind us with cameras. I automatically blush bright bright red.

"Okay everyone I know, we've had a wonderful turn of events, but just so you all know who don't know us, I here and my fiancé, Charles Finster, my brother Dillion, the sport twins Lillian and Phillip Deville and Charles's sister Kimi Finster all grew up together, but in the past half year we have not only found out more about ourselves than before. The Finters and Dil and my parents went missing earlier this year, we learned to take care of ourselves, I found out something out about myself, and we got in touch with old friends. We are all as a class are getting ready to step out these doors today as graduates but not as graduates but as adults, our friends we made here we might forget after one year while others my end up in a relationship or even end up Marring them," I took a small look at Chuckie, "but if I can tell you one thing I can take from here is to never give up, and be like us "The Rugrats" and stick together through thick and thin." I finished my long winded speech, only to see the audience with their jaws dropped then a loud rawr of applause fill the gym.

I thanked the director for allowing me to let me do this video and speech and apologized for that small interruption. He just looked at me and smiled and pat me on the back. I got off the stage and once again took my seat next to Chuckie with the rest of our group. Chuckie grabbed my hand and squeezed it then pulled it up to kiss it.

Two long hours later the graduation was finally over. I ran outside threw my hat in the air and laid on the grass where I got dog pilled on by all my friends and my lover!

"Tommy that was exhausting!" Dil exasperated.

"I thought that was wonderful," Kimi said, very much looking like she was pregnant.

"The sport twins?!" Lil and Phil said in unison and messed with my hair.

"You did great babe," Chuckie said giving me a peck on the cheek.

"I love you guys!" I grabbed everyone in my arms hugging them.
