Okay, so look: I'm done with all this bullshit. I'm done with the shootings, and the racism, and the news talking about how we've been being murdered. Racism should have ended a long damn time ago, but apparently it hasn't. Apparently there are some bitchy ass prejudiced people who cant seem to get over the color of our skin, or the fact that some of us are good people. And I'm done. I'M FUCKING DONE. We matter, and we have served America, and gone through so much. We went through two hundred years of slavery, and even more years of active racism. We survived getting paid less than the white people, and we survived the sadness and depression forced into our hearts. We've become a strong, loving community. And yes, while some of us are racist, we still care about white people and have white friends. And all those young brothers and sisters are dead because of their damn skin color. And that's some bullshit.
And to all of you fellow members of the African American community, I saw this: We need to stay strong. They will not get us down and they will never get us down. We're strong. We're caring. We fight for what we believe in. Just look at Colin Kaepernick, the 49ers football player who didn't stand for the pledge because he didn't want to show pride for a country who treated us colored people so badly. Look at Zendaya, who talked about how we need to finally be accepted for what we look like. The color of our skin does not define us- it's what's in our hearts that does.
We're black. We're proud. And we need to show these assholes what we're made of.
So let me tell you this, my dear brothers and sisters: These ignorant people can fight all they want. They can put us in whatever category they want to, and they can feel however they do about us. But I swear to you all, we will rise up again and fight back with the pride and determination of those before us. And if these monsters want to stop us, then they can try. but we will not give up. We're to strong to do that. We will strive for greatness and not let anyone take us down.
And to you people who are trying to ruin our lives and kill our brothers and sisters: You wont win this. We've been through years of war and slavery. We have held protests and have had some of the most influential leaders in America stand with us. We will not lose this to you, and we will stand for what we believe in no matter what. We are survivors. We are leaders. We are black people who just want to be seen as equals.
So no, we will not back down to your idiocy and we will prevail until America sees us as what we are: People. Humans. Those made by God in creation. We were put on this world for a reason. And if you want to fight us, we'll sure as hell fight back.
Our lives matter.
We're people.
We're winners.
We're leaders.
And we better never forget.
Ya feelin' me?
