Harry and Louis walked side by side laughing together. It felt really good. Really easy too. Louis filled in the empty spaces of Harry's life. His bright smile lit up all the darkness in the crevices of Harry's heart. His dancing fingertips and whispered words pooled blood inside Harry's ribcage.

They decided to hang out at the empty auditorium. Louis thumbed a text to Zayn, Liam, Niall and Jade to meet up with them there during their free period. Once everyone arrived, they embraced each other in smiles and hugs. They ordered pepperoni pizza and sat down in the endless rows of red, plush seats.

Harry delightedly laughed at Niall's face which was smeared in red pizza sauce. Louis' rasped laughter echoed in the auditorium. He flicked a pepperoni slice at Niall's blonde head. Niall suddenly burst into loud laughter. They stared at him with confused smiles, amused at his beet red face.

"Whasso funny?" Harry asked, biting into his pizza slice, a thick string of cheese dangling from his saucy lips.

"I still can't believe Louis tripped Troye in front of the whole school."

Niall broke out into uproarious cackles again, slapping Louis' ankle. Louis gently kicked him in the side. Niall dabbed his shining eyes with his hand.

"That was fucking brill, mate," Niall sighed happily.

Louis shook his head, scrunching his lips. Even though he was feigning being mad, his eyes were sparkling in amusement.

"Well, he deserved it."

Harry looked down at his plate, smiling secretively. When he raised his head, Louis was already smiling softly at him. They stared at each other for a long moment, motionless, their hearts beating in unison.

Zayn sat down next to Louis, Liam following him like a lost, endeared puppy. He wrapped an arm around Louis and pinched his cheek, Louis pawing him away with a wrinkled nose and a suppressed, tight-lipped smile. Harry smiled wider.

"Hey, Lou, why don't you reenact it for us? The stage is all yours."

"Alright." Louis perked up. He hopped up and off the seat and ruffled Niall's hair messily in passing. "I'll set the lights really quick."

Harry longingly watched Louis go. He admired the generous swell of Louis' arse, his thick, athletic thighs and his toned, muscled legs. His eyes darted back up to glaze over the muscles fluttering on Louis' back when he extended his arms above his head to stretch. Louis' shirt rode up, revealing the two dimples on his back. Harry sucked on his bottom lip distractedly.

Jade sat down next to Harry. She pulled his legs over her lap where he was sitting down sideways. She ran a thumb over the sharp bone of his ankle.

"So, is there a reason why you're so happy and giddy today?"

Harry turned to look at her. Jade wasn't looking at him, but instead she was staring at Niall as he opened his mouth wide while Liam threw pepperoni slices at his face, missing every time. Zayn laughed and helped Liam, throwing red pepperoni slices of his own. Harry looked down, biting back a smile.

"Louis and I kind of made up."

"Define kind of."

Harry rolled his shoulders in a coy shrug. "I don't know. Like..."

Harry flicked his hand in the air. He ran the same hand through his disheveled curls, his movements jerky.

"He told me the reason why he doesn't do relationships. And I get it, I really do. It makes sense the way he is and all. And then we...We, uh..." Harry's eyebrows pinched together as he recollected the memory of soft hands and even softer lips. "We kissed."
