I laid up in my room.

my dad downstairs having his romantic dinner.

There was a knock on the door.

I heard my dad get the door and talk to whoever it was then i heard footsteps

my door opened and in walked a girl with long black hair and light skin walked in with army green pants and a grey tank and combat boots.

Katherine? i asked

I sat up in my blue shorts in black tank and fuzzy socks and my hair in a bun.

Hey Alex. she said

What are you doing here? i asked

You know your grandmother, always getting in trouble. she said

What did she do this time? i ask

Not important. she said

Im guessing dad told you what happened to me. i said

Dorris told me she heard it from a friend and told me. she said

She knew and didn't even come back. i said

But i did. she said

Alex you almost died. she said

Why are you still up here? she asked

Nahele and i broke up. i said

She hugged me.

Come on your dad is going with me to break your crazy ass grandmother out lets go say goodbye. she said

I followed her downstairs.

my dad was packing up.

Wow look who's alive. he said

Well i might be but it sounds like your mother might not be. i said

I asked Nahele to come stay with you tonight so your not alone he will be here soon. Steve said

Was i though-- katherine started but i shushed her and mouthed he doesnt know.

i hugged them both.

5 mins later there was a knock on the door.

I opened it and in walked Nahele.

Why are you here? i asked

You know tired and just not up to doing stuff anymore. i said

They all miss you. he said

Kalena, Coral, Reef, Kai,Kalani, Grace, Teilor, pika, all of them they want to see you but your not letting anyone in. he said

Nahele you do not know what i am going through or what i went through. i said

I know but even grace your best friend hasn't seen you since the hospital and that was almost 2 weeks ago. he said

Im gonna change and put makeup on and then were picking grace up. i sa

I sprinted up the stairs and put on a black swimsuit that tied up around my abs and colorful bottoms.

i then put on a tie dye hawaii shirt and birkenstocks and then my makeup then packed some clothing.

I sprinted down the stairs and we jumped in my car.

I drove to graces house.

i sprinted inside.

i saw her adnd danny watching a horror movie so i crept into the ran at the part where someone jumps out and they screamed.

When grace saw me she jumped up and hugged me.

Hey danno. i said

He hugged me tight.

Im taking gracie out with me. i said

Gracie go out in the car with Nahele. Danny said

She looked back and forth from me to Danny.

Go get your stuff then go out to my car. i said

she walked away.

Whats up Danno. i said

How are you feelin? he asked

I can never fool my uncle Danno. i said

No you can't kiddo. he said

You promise you won't drink or anything. he said

I walked out to my car.

We drove away and drove to Kalenas.

We picked them all up and went up to the cove

When we got there i jumped off the rock and into the water.

Grace jumped down with me.

we all hung out the whole night.

Grace and i swam up to the edge and sat on a rock.

My dads making me leave school and go to a different one. she said

What why? he asked

He thinks it will be a better choice for my life. she said

Where are you going? i asked

He is looking into private schools. she said

If Steve ever made me leave school i would kill him. i said
