Chapter 1

Lauren's PO

It was a typical day at Ridgewood High. Mr.bell kept going on and on about World War II and what not. But all I could think about was Niall Horan the new kid at school...I know it was wrong for me to be thinking of him when I had a boyfriend. Harrison had it all... He was captain of the football team, led the team to states but they fell short. Harrison wasn't like one of those regular high school guys that were douche bags... He was kind and loving, he was the most adorable boyfriend and I loved him. But, Niall, Niall had something that made me drawn to him. But what was it? was it his charm, his hair?

*Prologue*

Mr.Bell- "Lauren when did World War II start?"

Lauren- "1939, ended 1945"

Mr.Bell- "Thank you Ms. Carraro"

Lauren- "My pleasure"

(Bell rang)

Thank god finally a break where I could eat. I was starving... As I was walking down the hall I hear my name being called... Please be Harrison I just really wanted to talk to him... But to my surprise it was Niall.

Niall- "Lauren can we talk?"

Lauren- "sure what's up?"

Niall- " um... Well I don't really know where things are around here so I was wondering if you would help me?"

Lauren- " sure... Well it looks like we have a lot of the same classes later so you can hang out with me until you get bored of me"

Niall- " haha...thanks... So do you play any sports?"

"Yea... I'm actually the captain of the volleyball team. How about you." I said

"I play soccer and sometimes football. but I'm not that good at football" Niall said with a blank expression.

"How do you know, maybe you should try out for the team. I could talk to my boyfriend about it he's captain." As I watched his face turn to a frown. What was that?? I thought.

"Umm... Yea sure, I guess it would be a good way to meet people" He said as we turned when we heard my name.

"Lauren babe... I've been looking for you everywhere." As he planted a kiss on my lips. We've been dating for a while now but I still get butterfly when we touch.

I knew Niall was feeling awkward so I introduced him to Harrison.

"Harrison this is Niall he's new here."

"What up dude, nice to meet you. So how you liking Ridgewood?" He said

Niall- "it's not bad... Everyone here is really nice."

Harrison- "well when you hang out with the right people. You want to come sit with us??"

"Sure why not."
