Ends are not bad things, they just mean that something else is about to begin. And there are many things that don't really end, anyway, they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad and many ends aren't really an ending; some things are never-ending.

|NOELLE// Karina's Mom|

✘2 months later✘

I remember when I first found out that I was pregnant. I cried so much. My family wasn't really supportive and I didn't get to have a baby shower. When I got pregnant, again. Karina was the first person by my side. She was there my whole pregnancy. She even threw me a baby shower even when she was pregnant herself but I was ahead by a month or two. I was probably just as excited as she was, and she immediately asked me to plan her shower as I am the go to party person in our circle.

I was so excited for her baby shower. I had games prepared like Guess the belly size with a string. There was some sheet of paper with different phrases and you had to guess the name to match. IE: Under girls, "A season" - Autumn. It was store bought, no idea where though."Who said that" - host asks mom/dad a list of questions about what they would do with the baby in different situations. We had to guess which one said that. It was fun seeing how well you knew someone.

Then they would split up the gift opening with games in between, which is nice.

I asked the guests to bring a "not so obvious" baby picture of themselves - the hosts put all the pictures on a big sheet of bristol board with little heart-shaped post-its with numbers, and gave everyone a sheet of paper to write down who they thought each picture was. It would be really cute to try to guess who was who and see such cute baby pictures, and a way to include everyone.

I had my mom and sisters cook while the boys were moving tables and getting drinks. I wanted it to be perfect for karina also because I have the best reputation for throwing the best events.

I decided to make my grandsons decorate onesies, an idea I got from a website, and I'm so glad I did it. I bought enough for sizes from 0-12 months, with fabric paint that came in markers so they were really easy to use and not messy (no brushes or anything needed). They came out SO cute... my favourite one was "If you think I'm cute, you should see my Daddy".

I know karina is gonna love it. It was already 4 o'clock in the evening which mean I have thirty minutes to get ready. I had already taken a shower so I just threw on my outfit and brush my hair. I wanted a natural look today so I didn't put that much on make-up.

I walked outside to see our family and friends already dressed and sitting at the tables. I was excited and it wasn't even my baby shower.

Karina came outside with tears in her eyes. I guess that must be the hormones. "T..thank you, oh God I love it so much. You even decorated everything yellow and blue. Colby look at all of this for our baby boy. "She said while Colby rubbed her back to calm her. " Thanks Noelle. Maybe when you get pregnant again Karina will throw you another baby shower." Colby said. I rolled my eyes playfully and nodded my head. They went to join the rest of the family and friends while I continued to play hostess.

I couldnt wait to start playing games and eat food. I saw Karina walk around with blue frosting all over her mouth and when she saw me looking at her ,she ran the other way. I swear that girl has a sweet tooth.
