Hi my name is Samantha, most people call me Sam. I just like it that way I suppose. I have 8 best friends, some who I wish weren't but we get along will I guess. Sorry, I'm blabbing lets get on with the story.
" So are you going? I think you should ...it'll be fun. Besides it wouldn't be a trip without you." Josh laughed a little poking fun at me . I always liked Josh but I'd never admit it to anyone not even his younger sister and my best friend Hannah. I want to go but its winter break and I'd rather spend my days in front of the fire place drinking hot coco while watching my favorite Christmas movie...a Christmas carol. But Josh is on of my best friends and I wouldn't pass up the oppurtinity of getting closer to him in a remote cabin.
"Sam, can you hear me? You kind of looked dazed for a moment there. " I smiled at josh to reassure him that I wasn't thinking about him . Which is something I do quite often.
"yeah I'm okay, I was just thinking about it and I've made my decision... its a yes . I'd love to go, it'll be fun" I set my water down and wait for the other six to answer. Obviously Hannah and Beth are going. There Josh's sister so there kind of a given. Their father is practically making them go due to the fact that him and josh's mom want to go to Florida for their vacation and want no interruptions. " Well I'll call the others and see if their up for it. My dad said anyone could go ." I nod sitting back drinking my water. I was nervous about going because I've never really been on a vacation in the mountains before and Chris' stupid conspiracy's don't help.
" Mike and Emily said yes. I just got to call Chris, Ashely, Jess and Matt. " I stand up going to my room and begin backing my things. Today's the first day of winter break and Josh wants to go as soon as possible that way theirs more time to have fun. since it'll be cold I grab all my favorite things I wear during the cold season. My favorite vests , my black leggings, 2 plaid skirts , scarfs, my long sleeve shirts and some pajamas. And of course my undergarment items.
After I pack my clothes I then pack my toothbrush, toothpaste, all my chargers and electronics , brushes, makeup, and my hair straighter.
I take my bags down stairs . " I just finished talking to the rest of the gang and they all were pretty excited about joining so we leave at 8pm tomorrow that way the next day they'll be plenty of time to have fun"
" good, well my bags a re all packed. I just hope there's a nook there because all my books are packed and I cant go get them"
" Don't worry my mom had a nook put in . There should be at least 1 book you'll find interesting...nerd" josh laughs a little causing me to laugh . " Leave me along at least I don't make fake light savers and start fighting with Chris like there real"
" Those are collectors items . Besides star wars is a very classic movie that everyone likes"
" I don't like it" I've never actually seen it but his response might be funny .
" well your not everyone Sam." that's what everyone says, they say I don't even act like a normal 16 year old which should be a compliment considering what they do these days.
" Well I better get going. Got a lot of packing to do. See you on the plane. " I walk him to the door.
"Save me a seat" I open it and let him out.
" You know I will." I close the door and await the exciting adventures that may come.
