Love between boss and detective

The Proposal

   It has been 2 weeks since the end of the trial period for Liv and Amanda. Fin has been helping Amanda come up with ways to propose to Liv. Amanda decided on one and she is taking Liv out to dinner tonight. It's 6 o'clock and Liv is finally ready. Lucy offered to babysit till they get back. Amanda takes Liv to a fancy restaurant and they order their drinks and meals. What Liv doesn't know is the big surprise. They have a great time at dinner then the waitress brings two cupcakes one has a ring on top and the other one is Amanda's. Liv gasps when she sees the ring on her cupcake only. Amanda gets down on one knee and says,"Liv I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love spending every moment with you and Noah. I would love to expand our family with you. Liv I want to grow old with you. You're the one for me Liv. Will you give me the honor of marrying you?"
   In tears Liv says,"Of course I will!!!"
   Amanda slides the ring on Liv's finger, stands up and stands Liv up, and kisses her. Everyone in the restaurant claps for them. Amanda pays the bill and they walk to the car holding hands. The don't let go until they each have to get in the car and then once they are in and buckles they hold hands again. "This ring is perfect!!" Liv exclaims.
   "I'm glad you love it. It's custom made just for you. The love of my life."
   They go home and when they get there Noah is still awake crying,"Momma mama." When they walk in Noah immediately sees them and smiles from ear to ear.
   Amanda takes Noah from Lucy. "Thanks for watching him. Looks like he was a handful tonight," Amanda says.
   "Just a little but nothing I couldn't handle," Lucy smiles.
   Liv pays her and Lucy leaves. Liv and Amanda go to Noah's room while Amanda carries him and gets him ready for bed. "Wanna sleep with momma and me or sleep in here with your teddy bear?" Liv asks.
   "Momma mama!!!" Noah shouts.
   "Okay baby boy. You're going to stay with momma while I get ready for bed."
   Amanda and Noah play while Liv gets ready for bed then they swap and Liv plays with Noah while Amanda gets ready. When all of them are ready they lay down in bed with Noah in the middles of them.
   The next morning, they wake up and get ready like usual. They drop Noah off at daycare and when they go into work Liv keeps her left hand covered and Fin looks at Rollins and she nods. Fin says,"Hey Liv. What's up with your left hand?"
   Liv whippes her left hand out and says loud enough everyone can hear her,"Amanda proposed last night and I said yes."
   Everyone gasps at the ring and says,"Congratulations!!!"

A/N: I know this is a short chapter but I wanted next chapter to be about planning the wedding and the wedding. So next chapter will be longer. I feel like this is to happy. Should I have one of them be kidnapped or something. Comment what you think. I mean this is SVU nothing is happy all the time.
