Can a day get any worse?

Woke up on the right side of the bed

What's up with this Prince song inside my he-

I threw the source of the song outside my window and then wrapped the blanket a little tighter around my body.

"Nikki, you are LATE.Get up right now or I swear I will throw you out of the window just like you threw your phone just a second ago," my mom said, tearing the only source of warmth away from my body. The cold air made me shiver.

"What the hell ! Did I just throw my phone out of the window?" I asked in disbelief.

"That's what I said," my mother said, a little annoyed.

"Oh my my my...My baby...My life" I shouted running down the stairs but somehow ended up falling face first and then sliding the rest of the way down.

"Nikki be care..." my mother trailed off seeing me at the bottom of the stairs with my legs rolled over my head.

"I'm perfectly fine."  I mumbled as I got up and fixed my hair.

I walked out of the house and was greeted by the cold december air which send chills down my spine.I looked around and saw my phone on the porch. Thankfully no damage was done.I picked it up and rushed back inside the house.

"Breakfast ready." my mom anounced from the kitchen.

I hurriedly rushed upstairs and entered the bathroom, closing the door behind me with a loud bang.

I quickly brushed my teeth and then took a quick shower. Seeing that I was late my mom had already packed my breakfast. I picked up my bag and stuffed the packet of food inside it.Taking a last  look in the mirror , I said my goodbyes and walked out.

I saw the familiar Audi A4 waiting for me in my porch. I almost reached the car, when the oh-so-cool-buddy of mine, the raven, decided to give the finishing touches to my sweatshirt.

Dude, I mean seriously? What can me more beautiful than a stylish print of poop on my sweatshirt. eh? I sighed and then cleaned the mess with a napkin shuddering to think what the day had in store for me.

The door to the passenger seat was opened and I was greeted by the familiar blonde with twinkling blue eyes and NOW my one and only best friend. Chloe.

"Oh my god, it's my first day to my senior year. I am so damn excited,"I said faking cheerfulness.

She snorted and rolled her eyes.

"I've been waiting here for like forever," she said with a tint of anger.

"Sorry " I mumbled and looked down at my hands that were on my lap.

"Hey, you fine, right?" she asked concern lacing her voice.

I sighed and  told her the whole Drew problem while she drove and thankfully  didn't ask anymore questions related to him.

"Where did you go during the vacations ?" she asked.

"I went to our farm house in the countryside ," I said with no enthusiasm.

"Again ?" she asked.

"Yeah, seeing that my father is mostly on a bussiness tour and my mom working in the hospital, that's the only place where I can go." I said

"Well, you know what? I went to Massachusetts to spend the vacation and....."

I shut her off and stared outside the window . As the trees bassed by, I knew that the school was near and soon I will have to face Drew.I saw my most dreaded building come in sight. As we entered the school gates and parked the car,the familiar high-school crowd  greeted us.
