Respect and Trust

I wake in a bed up in the tree house. I look around and no one is there. I try to stand up but my arms keep me down. I look back and see I am chained down. I decide it's best just to wait for someone to come and explain what is going on. I lay my head back and I realize that the reason I'm tied down is because they don't trust me after what happened. I guess I can't be angry but still. I suddenly hear someone coming up to where I was. I lift my head and see Zane. I automatically smile I can't help it. Zane comes over and sits on a chair by my bed.

"Um Zane, could you maybe unchain me?" I ask him. He shakes is head and my smile vanishes.

"Okay," I say." I understand, they probably just want to make sure that I am not going to turn all evil again." I turn my head away from Zane. I then hear him speak.

"Can you tell me why it happened?" I look back at him.

"Yeah, basically um, well, you know how you slapped me, multiple times?" Zane blushed a little and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Right, and I'm really sorry about that. I can't control my anger sometimes."

"Well, that is basically what happened to me. I lost control. My evil side apparently feeds off of negative feelings." I smile. "I guess that when someone relates to me or someone I care about shows positive feelings towards me, I go back to normal, I don't really care now that I am back to normal." Even though he has a mask over most of his face, I see him smile. I laugh a little.

"What are you laughing at?" Zane asks.

"Why do you always were a mask?" I ask and laugh a little more.

"I could ask you the same thing!" Zane playfully yells at me. I kinda am taken back by the question. I don't want to tell him the answer. Zane notices.

"Hey, I'm sorry."
