Falling Moons

Chapter 4

I woke up about a few hours later only to find myself chained to a bed, that  seemed to be a single and about a queen size, and I was barely able to move. I tried to struggle out of the chains but it was no use they made sure they were tight and unbreakable by any spell. To put it simply I am a sitting duck.

"Where am I?" I asked confused. 

"You are in a holding cell. You are waiting for your trial." Said a guard.

"Trial for what?" I asked confused.

"You committed a crime. What else do you need to know?" Said the guard sarcastically.

I just shake my head annoyed and just lied there waiting for my trial. After about a few hours they finally removed the chains and I was dragged into a different room. The room was more so as a solitary confinement room. I was nervous at first until about two hours later I was dragged out of the room and was blindfolded. After a few minutes I was strapped into a chair and was put in front of the Grand Council.

The Grand Council consist of the main five people that protect our secret and also ensure justice upon anyone that commits a crime. Such as myself in this case. There are five people that we have to remember. There are five chairs everyone has to remember. The lowest chair is Alexander Kram. The next one above him is Cassandra Nabano. In the middle we have Leo Cervantes. Second highest is Jessica Kham. Finally at the highest is Edward Korolis.

"It sure has been a while since you came to us but never the less let's get this trial over." Said Edward.

"Nice to see you to Edward. Family doing good?" I asked annoyed.

"Good. What about you? Oh yeah that's right you don't have a family." Said Edwards annoyed.

"Careful Edward we are dealing with a Crystallum after all" Said Jessica calmly.

"Indeed we are. But never the less we must have a sentence for him." Said Leo annoyed by everyone.

The five members disappear and return in about then minutes.

"We have reached a decision. You will only receive a warning but next time you won't. You will be given a watcher. Take good care of her she is the only one that wanted to be your watcher." Said Cassandra happily.

"Who is she then?" I asked confused.

"You already meet her. Her name is Sherry Calvarez." Said Alexander tired.

I was then untied and put back into the cell and waited until I saw Sherry. Sherry eventually showed up and I stared at her.

"You could have told me you worked for the council." I said annoyed by her.

"If I did then you would have been dead because while they were discussing your sentence I suggested I watch over you and not have a worse punishment." Said Sherry confident.

"Fine I will play along with this little nonsense so long as I still get to do some work." I said tired.

"Of course you will be able to do some work. You are not on lock down." Said Sherry joking.

"So. When do we begin?" I asked defeated.

"We start right now." Said Sherry extending a hand.

I gently shake her hand a bit concerned really.
