Chapter 3- The movies

Steve’s POV:

Okay I feel really really bad about dissing Alec. But listen, I told o had a crush on him in the 9th grade and now were sophomores. HE said the same thing to me. Plus I wanna go out with Sam first and see how it is. Trust me I love Alec but like a brother. I don’t know maybe it will progress over time but I just wanna focus on Sam right now. Ahhh Sam. I thought while I was eating dinner at Alec’s. Him and his parents were in deep conversation. I got a text and I took out my phone. It was Sam. It said:

Hey babe.

I replied back:

Hey

What’s up?

Nothing hanging with Alec.

Oh cool well I gtg bye!!

Alright see ya.

End of conversation.

I stared back up to see Alec looking at me. I gave him a shy smile and he just looked away. Ugh when is this going to be less awkward.

　

　

　

　

　

~Skipping way ahead to Friday night.~

I had went home and looked through my closet after school. It was still really awkward with Alec but I didn’t mind so much. I settled on blue skinny’s and a a blue polo. I spiked up my hair. I put on my cologne and went to open my door and found my mom drunk. She looked at me in disgust.

“Uh…hi mom.”

“What tir hill are youse gion?”

“I’m going out with some friends and then I’m staying the nights at Alec’s.”

“What ever faggot.”

“What the hell I’m not gay.”

“Yea sure tell that to your boyfriend that called last night. He said he wants to talk.”

“Mom I’m not gay. I got to go see ya.” I said an rushed out the door. Inside I could hear my mom yelling at my dad. My dad came just as I got in my car and drove off. Great I think they know now. I forgot it and went to pick up Sam and Alec. He has a date too I guess. I’m not gonna let it be awkward. I pulled into Sam’s drive way. He walked out and got in.

“Why did you call me house?”

“I didn’t know if you had your cell phone on you.”

“Well please don’t do it again.” I said.

“Okay.”

I drove till I pulled into Alec’s drive way. He came out with a guy that looked a lot like Darren from glee. I looked over at Sam and figured he looked like Kurt too. Hmmm weird. I shrugged it off. I waited till they got in the car and drove to the movies. We picked a movie and sat down. Me nect to Sam, Sam next to Dick (the Darren look a like), and Dick next to Alec. I knew Alec kept looking at me, but I ignored it.

“I got to go to the bathroom.” Dick said.

“So do I brb.” Sam said.

Me and Alec both looked at each other then went back to the movie. It had been 15 minutes since they came back I looked at Alec and we decide to look for them. We find them behind a building making-out.

“WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE??!?!?!?!?!!?” We both said at the same time. They looked up at us sheepishly. They looked at each other then took of running. RUNNING. I mean who does that. RUNNING THE HELL AWAY FROM A DATE?!?!?!? I almost ran after them. Almost. But I thought I didn’t wanna be with a guy who ran away from me. So I grabbed Alec’s hand and we walked back to my car.

“Why would Dick do this? He’s been asking me out for months.” He said devastated.

“Well why didn’t you say yes to him?” I asked suddenly curious.

“Well cause I liked you.”

“Oh…” Now that made me feel bad. “Lets just give them a day and see what happens.”

He nodded and we started to drive off to his house. I hope everything works out……
