Unspoken Melody

Lexi's POV:

What the hell went on in there. Me and Drew walk inside to see Wes sitting up against the wall with his head in his hands. He is crying. What did they say to each other?

I sit beside him,"Wes what happened?" I ask patting his back

He looks up,"She left she said that it was my fault drunk or not. She said I can't keep using the drunken mistake card." He says,"Then she ran out the door." He says pointing to the wide open front door.

"Shit." I get up,"I have to go look for her, she doesn't know her way around town yet." I say grabbing my board and phone and running out the door. I look back once I'm on the side walk to see our group skating on both sides of the road looking.

I ride until we reach the beach. I haven't seen one site of her. I look down the beach and I see a familiar head of dirty blonde hair.

"Guys I found her!" I shout as they all stand next to me.

We walk down the beach and to the rocks slowly,"Be quiet and don't approach her or she'll run again." I whisper to them as we stop by the rocks.

I hear her singing.

" Mama you taught me to do the right things, but now you have to let your baby fly... Eaves dropping isn't nice you know." She says.

We all freeze,"Why'd you run off?" I ask her.

She scoffs,"What Wes you didn't tell her about your raging jealousy." She says.

Wes steps forward,"How'd you know I was here?" He asks

She laughs,"Wes I know you. I dated you. I know a lot more then you think Wes. And I'm telling you to leave me be. If you care about me leave me be. Go live your famous life and find someone who you will love back." She says getting up and walking past him towards me,"I want to go home." She says

I nod,"Okay I'll drive you.. No I want to go back to Iowa, I need some time away." She says

I nod,"Okay but your not going without me." I say

She nods and smiles a little. She turns to everyone nods then walks away.

Wes falls to his knees and stares blankly at us. That boy is broken.
