Who are we?

They call me Ciro. I'm around fifteen years old. I'm an outcast.

I have a family. We have experienced the unimaginable alone. We survived. Now we are together, and we know that we can handle anything thrown our way.

We have systems, we have plans, a few rules, but we're not scared to break them.

We protect each other at all costs. The unspoken rule. We tell each other of a large scale plan before we put it into action. Established after a capture, followed by search and rescue, followed by a violent argument. Put in what you take out. No freeloading, you get what you deserve. That's just about all the rules thought necessary. These are the real rules. The ones we can't afford to break. Others are never taken seriously and broken frequently. Sometimes it's taken as a joke, sometimes it's otherwise.

My family consists of two males, three females, a non binary, and a weasel.

The other male is Asaph. He has many talents. He's a swift thief and a hidden scavenger. He always seems to possess whatever inanimate object we need. Pulling it out of nowhere at the exact moment we need it. He has many secrets and has revealed the least of his past life out of all of us, yet hiding nothing of his life now. He's only told one person anything of his time before he met us. He's told me.

One of the girls is Nora. She's insane, not by scientific definition however. Skilled with locks and having a knack for making controlled bombs, she's wanted in various countries, including the one she was born in. When she was an adolescent escapee in Germany, she made no attempt to cover up her acts or guise herself from pursuers. We found her just in time to lead her astray from a trap set up by an elite force of safety regulators. We have to be careful with Nora. If she's caught, she's a goner. Although she had no problem revealing her entire story the moment were found her, she can definitely keep a secret.

Kalypso is a mystery and a master of disguise. Not only can she make Nora's face revealable to the public, she takes care of all the cover ups. Making it seem as if we hadn't left our hideout in the first place. She's also conquered the art of concealment in action. She's great at what she does and was probably the best addition to the group.

Zaila is a daredevil. She's fearless. Most relatable as the brawn of the group. She'll tackle any task, carry any trade, and exceed her limits to do so. She's just about impenetrable, but not quite. She had feelings just like everyone else. Quick to get mad, first to throw the punch, eager to start the argument. Her strength comes with cost. Even so, she's worth all the trouble. Truly a great person to have as a friend and very predictable.

Glaw on the other hand, is very confusing. Unpredictable and unclear. Glaw is great with computers, set on beliefs, and possessor of an intelligent vocabulary. With Glaw however, I never know what pronouns to use. They change every day, at the least. Glaw also has a solid barrier, blocking out emotions at will. Glaw is somewhat oblivious to surrounding events, therefore not a suitable leader.

We also have a weasel named Simon who's part of our group. Simon's a character. Great for entry with limited space, very agile and flexible, and almost as nifty as Asaph. Everyone loves him and he's kind of the peacemaker of the group. Simon brings us all together. He even brought me and Asaph to meet, later leading us to the location of Nora. He's also my best friend. I'm closer to him than anyone else in the group, even Asaph.

Lastly, there's me. Ciro, as you already know. I'm not one to talk of myself but I guess I'm the brains of the group. I'm a quick thinker and a skilled mathematician. Although terrible with technology and geography, I love philosophy and astronomy. Things such as that come naturally to me. I was sort of surprised when I found how differently others think. I'm the one who creates the plans, the functions, everything that makes everyone in our group work together smoothly. I'm also the most likely to be breaking up any fights or arguments that come our way, not limited to the group either. Asaph says I'm one to intervene with quarrels that take place publicly or out in the streets, not even considering the consequences. I just do whatever feels right.

That's all of us. You'll figure out our back stories some other time. Now, I'd like to present to you, the our story. The time from meeting each other to now, maybe even beyond. We are a special group of people. We are a family. We are outcasts.
