i yawned as i listened to my alarm go off. it was currently 6:15 am... did my mom really think i was gonna get up? i liked my alarm song though so i didn't turn it off.
"gracen! get up! you need to shower before school!" my mom yelled up the stairs.
"no!" i yelled back as i rolled over in bed and covered my face with my blanket. then i heard footsteps coming up the stairs. my door flew open and my lights flipped on in like 2 seconds flat.
"gracen cameron clarke! i swear if you don't get out of bed right now i will-"
"you will...???"
"young lady do not sass me"
"old lady don't use my middle name"
"hey! do you want me to take that phone away so you can't talk to your oh so precious boyfriend?" i just rolled my eyes at that one. and yes my middle name is cameron and no it doesn't flow well with the rest of my name but whatever.
i slowly climbed out of bed as she watched me. i then pretended to stretch and waited until she walked out of my room before jumping back into bed. i grabbed my phone and began going through my notifications from the night before. as i was scrolling my phone buzzed from a new alert.
'grayson dolan:
heeeelllloooo'
i glanced quickly at the time, 6:19 am, before shaking my head at how insanely early he was awake. i put in my passcode before typing a reply.

ooh look at that things are changing! i wrote this one a little different which is why it took longer (even though it's actually really short but i'll explain) but i went camping with my parents this weekend and also went to a Charlie Daniel's Band concert on saturday which was so much fun!! but i didn't have service so i didn't write :-// but i'm gonna try and post more but bear with me!! on most days i don't get home till 8-9pm so y'all gotta wait sometimes and that's why i wanted to pre-write some chapters but i didn't bc i was busy but i had already started on the next chapter so it's coming soon:-)
