Chapter 2

Paul looked at the girl asleep in his arms and smiled softly. "She is the one.." He thought. His wolf, Damien barked in agreement."She is perfect." Paul then realized he was still with Margret and Jack, "She is the one Luke.." Paul told his friend, Luke. Luke took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I was afraid of that." He whispered. Keefer looked at his little sister in Paul's arms.

"Give me back my sister you big bully. You hurt her!" He cried seeing his sister limp in this mans arms. "Keefer...." Margret whispered holding him back."She is okay. He is going to be taking care of her...."Keefer shook his head. "He... He can't take sissy... Mommy,don't let him take sissy away from me... please. Please don't let him. " Keefer cried softly hiding in Margret's skirt. Margret smiled softly before she whispered. "I am going inside with Keefer." She picked him up and walked swiftly inside. She slammed the door shut when she made it inside.

Luke took in a deep breath listening his wife yell at him inside his mind. He winced and tried to shake it off. He looked at Paul and said. "I hope you do not hurt a single hair on her head or you will not like what Margret is telling me what she will do to you. " He said laughing.

Paul laughed and shook his head. "It will be fine. I am not going to hurt her. I promise I won't. If I hurt her, I will end up hurting myself." Luke narrowed his eyes at Paul and then sighed and said, "fine. But still if you do not take care of her I will let my wife go after you." Paul laughed again, and nodded, "duly noted Luke." He then smiled down at the precious little girl in his arms."I would never dream of hurting this sweet little one." He kissed the side of Anna's head.

"How long do you plan on staying this time?" Luke asked, Paul thought a bit. "I am actually not sure how long I am staying. I might stay until she feels comfortable around me..." Luke rolled his eyes, "she already is comfortable with you. She fell asleep in your arms Paul." Paul nodded, then he sighed. "Then I am not sure how much longer I am staying then." Luke thought a bit. "How about you see her every month until her 18th birthday? That way it is her choice to be with you."

Luke thought a bit and nodded a couple times. "I can do that. It would help me get everything back at the pack house set up for her and i can let the whole pack know about her." Paul told him with a soft smile nodding. Paul nodded before he looked at his daughter in his friends hold and asked, "Would you like to stay the night so you can tell her in the morning?" He asked Luke.

Luke bit his lip and looked at his mate, "Hm.. Maybe... I might do that i will have to let my betas know first though. So i will go lay her down before i go to pick up some stuff." He murmered out loud.
