~The Morning~

Brian's POV:

I could not sleep at all, all I've done since that encounter with Dakota, was lie in my bed, thinking all night. So when I had to get up to work on the car I owed Dom, with him and the crew, I felt horrid, probably looked that way too. I took a deep breath finally getting out of the bed, which lay neatly made since all I did was lay on top of it, and put on a shirt, not changing out of the sweatpants I had on. As I walked downstairs I saw the whole crew was already up and bustling about. Letty and Mia were talking to each other about who knows what, Dom and Dakota were arguing about something, Leo and Vince, who had no idea Brian was here, were holding beers and seemed to be teasing Jesse about something judging by the look on his face. 'Just like usual' I thought to myself as I went to the fridge, grabbing a Corona. "Hey Dom why'd you let the buster in?" Vince asked sounding pissed, since their first encounter wasn't too pleasant. Dom rolled his eyes at Vince, having been through this once before with him after a street race almost getting busted. "The buster has brought me back, where were you Vince? Huh? Where were you? Hiding" Dom snapped at Vince getting in his face. I decided to stay out of this but Dakota wasn't having the argument, as she walked up to them getting in the middle, shoving Vince away. "Dude cut the shit it's too early in the morning for fighting. I don't know you but you already annoy me" Dakota seethed in annoyance as Dom, along with everyone else, laughed at Dakota's snappy nature this morning. Vince clicked his tongue in an annoyed gesture not liking being called out. "She doesn't remember anything but she still calls me out" Vince grumbled as he sat down at the table. As everyone laughed harder I could only smile, looking at Dakota glad to have seen some of her old self again, because I've missed it, I just hope it stays and maybe, she will remember.

A/N: I'm so sorry for the late update and I am so sorry it's so short I had an eventful weekend so I never got to go on my laptop. Next week I'm pretty sure will be so much better. Thank you all for reading and I hope you guys like it!
