Chapter One
***Skylynn's POV***
"I gotcha! Finally after all this time, I actually got you!!" I said to Kaitlyn.
"Not even a second I take my eyes off the screen, and you got me. Nice sneak attack, Sky." She said sitting down the controller.
She sat down on the couch and grabbed her phone.
"So what are you and Braxton doing this weekend?" I asked.
"I actually think he's babysitting for his moms friend. Maybe it can be a weekend when we can hangout? Haven't done that in a while, huh?"
"Yeah cuz you and him have been inseparable since you guys stopped fighting."
Kaitlyn and Braxton have know each other all their lives. They met when they were 8 months old, playing in the public pool. I've known both of them that long too cause I was there with then.
Braxton and Kaitlyn's moms were very close, and when time grew older so did they. Me and Kaitlyn clicked before her and Braxton did though, when I accidentally climbed on top of her head and pushed her underwater.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry about that too. You know I love him." She said blushing.
"Don't worry about it, it's just what happens when you date someone. It just means less time for best friends, and that's normal."
"Yeah... Well, what do you want to do this weekend?"
As I am about to make a suggestion, my phone vibrates, notifying a text from Niall.
'Coming home in about 5 more hours ! See you soon !' It read.
'Can't wait!'
"How much more time till he comes home?" Asks Kaitlyn, knowing everything just from a text.
"5 more hours. He will be here at about midnight." I said getting up from the couch.
"So when he gets here, should I alert Braxton about his lover boy?" She chuckled at the thought of their bromance.
"Of course!" I said laughing too.
Me and Niall have been pretty close friends since we were 8 years old when I moved into my house across the street from him.
He and I have always been close, and it's always nice to know him for him, and not the famous him. I couldn't wait to spend Christmas with him.
"Well hey, Braxton is on his way to pick me up so I better get going. Text me what you want to do on Saturday. and PLEASE don't blow me off cause of Niall!" She groans, grabbing her coat.
"I won't, but you've got to understand that I haven't seen him in so many years, Kaitlyn!"
"I know, I know. You have a while to spend with him though. But please, promise me?" She says looking at me straight in the eye.
"I promise." I said opening the door for her.
"Good. I'll see you then, bye!" She said walking to Braxton's car.
"Bye!"
