Chapter 1 - Meeting The Crew

-Aurora's POV-

Hi! My name is Aurora Davila and welcome to my life. I might not be the most interesting girl in the world but I can be cool sometimes. Some things I like to do are watch Grey's Anatomy, lay in my bed as much as possible, eat barbecue Lay's chips, wear over-sized sweatshirts and no pants, and play volleyball and football. No, I'm not one of those super cool girls that are on an actual school football team, sadly. But I did play volleyball for my school. GO LADY WARRIORS! Anyways, I'm 16 years old and I have a huge crush on my all time guy bestfriend, Elliot. I don't think he knows I like him and I'm perfectly okay with that. He comes over to my house sometimes and goes to church with me. And no, I'm  not some religious freak but I do love me some Jesus. And so does he, which is good! AND. HE. PLAYS. GUITAR.  Which is freaking amazing because that means I get to sing to him playing and It's amazing and yeah. He also has a pretty nice face if I do say so myself...

Before I go any further, I want to tell you a little bit about my friends. So you can get an idea of what I deal with everyday of my life. Let's start with the girls.

Well, there's me, Aurora Davila. The awkward, quiet one that does more of the listening than talking in the group. I'm obsessed with watching Youtube and making musical.lys. I'm a lot more confident behind a screen. Please tell me I'm not the only one...

Then there's my best best friend, Miranda Smith. She's me but prettier and skinnier and has longer hair than I do. She also has a boyfriend that goes to a different school so I don't really know know him. But from what she's told me, he seems nice. She loves Youtube as much as I do and she's in our school band. And she's also just as quiet and awkard as I am , which is nice. and out of all the girls in our group, other than I'm the closest to her. She knows the most about me and she's helped me through a lot, let me just tell you.

Next is Savannah Hunters. She's the obnoxious, crazy, bold one in our group. She can get on our nerves sometimes but we still love her. She's Puerto Rican and has super long hair, she dyes underneath her hair red and it looks so freaking cool. She has brown eyes and clear skin, unlike me lol.  She also makes musical.lys and loves to read. She's not my best best friend, but she's one of them, for sure!

Now on to Emily King. She's Savannah's best best friend. She's also quiet but once you get to know her, she's crazy, which is why Savannah and her are bestfriends. Her hair is also down to her butt and she's super skinny and she's a white girl, like me. She loves to read and.. well... yeah. Oh! She just loves to fan-girl over the boys in The Maze Runner series. And she get's scared SO EASILY. It's so fun to scare her.

And there's Zoey Johnson. The athletic one in our group. She's the oldest and she's on cross country and track and she's more of the tomboyish kind of girl and I freaking adore her. She is so pretty and so funny and she's James Johnson's sister. I'll get to him later. She's latino and that's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I would love to be any other color than ghost tbh.

Now on to the boys...

Of course, there's Elliot. Mr.Mcdreamy. He's mixed and is super muscley. Is that even a word? It is now. Anyways, let me tell u some things about him. He plays guitar, plays rugby and does track and did football, but is giving it a break for now. He's like Savannah and is outgoing and likes to meet as many people as he can. He's extremely loud and funny and everybody loves him. Let's just say... he's not shy. He can be super sweet when he wants to be but he can be a joking kind of jerk too. He is extremely tall and always smells super good. To be honest, I could go on and on about him but that's normal when someone has a crush on someone.

Next there's James Johnson. He's Zoey's brother and is just as athletic but aside of doing track/cross country, he wrestles. He's considered as one of the popular guys in school and it doesn't surprise me one bit. He's not that bad looking and is super sweet. He's just one of those guys that everybody wants to be friends with and I get the advantage of being in his bestfriend  group. Me and him are pretty good friends. He knows about me liking Elliot and gives me advice whenever I need it. Once, me and him texted till 3 am talking about what I should do about Elliot.

Then there's Chris Anderson. He's also mixed but lighter colored than Elliot. He's Savannah's boyfriend and he's also super cool. He play's guitar AND sings. He's the total package but not my type. He's all Savannah's. She's very protective over him, ever since she broke up with her last boyfriend of a year and a half, she's had a little bit of trust issues. I'll talk about that later. He's the oldest guy in the group and he's already in college. So him and Savannah don't get to see each other that much.

Last there's Adam Young. He's your stereotypical non-virgin football jock that gets all the attention in school. Him and James are like brothers. He's also Zoey's boyfriend. He's not my favorite person in the world but I can tolerate him, I guess.

So, yeah. I hope that gives you a pretty good understanding of what I have to deal with all the time. We have been through so much together and I don't know what I would do without them. I know, gross sappy stuff, I'm sorry but it's true. These are my only actual friends and they care about me and they don't judge me. Which is nice, because of my past, which I will also talk about later.
