Chapter Three

When I woke up I looked at my arm. It was wrapped in soggy leaves and old crisp stuff that looked like paper with blood stains. So while I am here let me tell me a little bit about myself. As you probably already now my name is William Garb. Garb is my guardian so he changed my last name to Garb. It used to be William Fraunce but my parents died. They went out to sailing to explore one day and never came back. People from the village off the coast say they were captured by Pirates and killed. Or even worse. Others say their ship sunk. So my parents went and never came back. Pirates have been attacking this land looking for me and my family ever since. Now I don't have a clue why they are attacking my island but that is a little information about my life. I heard the sea rushing beside me and my world rocking slowly. Hmmmmmmmm WAIT- I stood up and looked around all I could see was water and water and water and water and water!!!!!!!!! "Why are we not on land!" I yelled at Garb. Garb replied, "The island was not safe anymore .There were pirates coming daily and so I had to steal this ship and get you to another island. We need to settle on a new island until they find us again then we go on the lamb." " But we are not on the lamb!" I yelled. "I think we are on the lamb when we stole this big two deck ship with pirates chasing us I would consisder that on the lamb," Garb finished. I started it again,"What if we were to get lost or caught," He replied, " You are never lost or captured when you know where the light is."We were supposed to be on the island in Garb's blacksmith shoppe but we weren't. We were living a life on the lamb.

A few hours later Garb was asleep with some rum besides him and I was sailing the huge ship all by myself. It wasn't hard actually you just have to look closely because the big thick mast is in the way. It was cold, windy, and dark outside. Finally after one more hour my hands went numb and clammy .I saw and island not to far away so I steered towards it. I was so tired I finally realized it was a ship...... A pirate ship.
