Karkat x (Depressed) Reader

First Day

(Its alright if you skip this most people do including me haha) I just wanted to say yes I started it out like most typical fanfictions with going to a high school "Alternia High" but decided since there isn't enough long and sappy homestuck x reader fanfictions, I should write one and write it bit different. I'm going to work hard and try to post a chapter every day or so. Please comment on grammar, spelling, and homestuck quirk corrections as I would love to know so I don't "Trigger" anyone like it greatly triggers me (I'm a bit of a spelling nazi sorry haha.) ALSO I'm only doing the quirks for pesterlogs but ill make them sound like themselves

Your Pov
You woke up tiredly to your ringtone alarm.
Sitting up and rubbing your eyes; "Another night of little sleep..." you murmured quietly to yourself. You looked at the clock a bit confused as to why it was going off when you realized today was your first day of high school. You sighed softly turning your phone alarm off and getting out of bed. "Maybe high school will be better.. but... maybe it won't" you muttered glumly to yourself. Depressing yes, but middle school included endless torment from school jerks and heart wrenching loneliness. You shrugged off the pained memories and got dressed and ready.
    You peeked out your doorway at the sleeping form ,that was your uncle, on the couch. "Good.. I won't have to deal with him right now.." you silently slid out the door and walked to what would be your new bus stop to your new school.
    You stood by the stop sign, put your ear buds in, and waited for the bus to arrive. As you were waiting someone came up and waited next to you. By the backpack you guessed he was waiting for the bus as well. You took a peek and noticed he was a troll; but that didn't bother you as they've been around quite awhile now. The troll had four horns and red and blue shades. (Nope not Karkat yet) He was currently looking down at his phone when he noticed you staring at him. "Oh. Hey there I didn't know thomeone elthe wath at thith buth thtop, Im guething you altho go to alternia high too?". He gave you a smile and you smiled back and blushed a bit at how cute his lisp was, you nodded while taking your ear buds out. "Yeah. I'm (Y/n), what about you?" You asked while tilting your head. "Im Thollux" he paused for a moment looking a little frustrated and added "thollux with an sth (s) ". You giggled and nodded. "Alright sollux with an S, its nice to meet you". He nodded back blushing slightly as the bus arrived; you both got on it and sat next to each other, talking on the way to school; mostly about video games.

     You looked up at the big building that would now be your high school. "Woah.." you breathed out quietly. Sollux chuckled and you both walked in and grabbed your schedules. "We have firtht period together! " Sollux exclaimed then furrowed his eyebrows "oh i'm pretty thure my athhole friend hath that clath ath well.. lookth like you guyth will get to meet." He added a little quieter. "Oh alright, I can't wait!" You smiled but you were also a bit nervous that this "asshole" friend would be mean to you. You both hurried to find your first period where you found a couple people (and trolls) already there.
