Your Pov
You had made it through your first couple classes and gave out a relieved sigh as you picked up your things. Nepeta jumped over to you with a STRONG sweaty man that she then introduced to you as Equius. She quickly grabbed your arm and yanked you to the cafeteria to meet up with the people you had met today and some of her other friends as well.
Equius kept up easily with long STRONG strides behind the both of you.
You both entered, grabbed your food, and headed to the table where your friends were sitting.
You kept your head down nervous of everyone and especially noticing you had been placed right next to Karkat. Remembering earlier you ate your food quietly and listened to nepeta talk about ships.
Little Angry Troll Pov

You swallowed nervously taking occasional glances to the girl besides you. Of course she had to sit by you! You tried to ignore her presence and eat or listen to Nepeta's conversation, but it kept making you think of the pret- the um.. human girl besides you. You looked up to see sollux wiggling his eyebrows at you noticing your uneasiness. You gave a hateful glare his way and mouthed a silent fuck you before then returning to your food.
Finally the bell rang signalling the end of lunch. You ,in the process of heading out, knock into someone and on habit scream vulgarity at them before looking back and stopping once realizing who it was. "Shit.." you grumbled quietly. Your day was going just perfectly wasn't it? You sprinted out flustered, angry at yourself, and embarrassed.
Your pov

Lunch went by pretty quickly for you since you didn't say much, you grabbed your things and made way to the door when you accidentally stumbled into someone. "O-oh sor-" "LOOK WHERE THE FUCK YOU ARE GOING NOOKWHIFF-". You flinched and tears began to form in your eyes, terrified of the yelling directed towards you. In the realization you saw the person yelling hate towards you was none other than Karkat. He had suddenly stopped yelling seemingly just noticing you and had widened his eyes before whispering something and running out. You wiped your eyes quickly as Nepeta bounced up behind you. "D-does he hate me that much?" You asked her softly. She looked at you and smiled warmly "aww of course not! Karkitty is just a big ol grumpy grump. He'll warm up I purrromise!"
You cracked a smile ,while giggling a bit at her cat pun, and nodded. "Alright then. Well I gotta head to class, ill see you later Nepeta, it was nice meeting you too Equius!" You waved to him as well and he nodded. You ran quickly out of the cafeteria hoping to not be late.
