Stephen wept. What was he to do!.? Dead, everyone is dead. He sobbed and yanked at his clothing and hair. What just happened? Why me? Why not mom, or dad, or Elizabeth? Why me!?

He shivered as he observed his dismal surroundings. Scattered across the floor was the remains of his innocent family.

Limbs, ears, and blood was all around Stephen. The disembodied head off his darling sister was lying face up right in front of him. Her eyes were struck with terror and there was a hole the size of a golf ball in the middle of her forehead. It's all my fault. They don't deserve this. They didn't rebel against the government, I did! I'm the criminal, I'm the villain, I'm the killer..... but they take the heat?

Why is god so cruel? How could he let anything happen to my sweet, innocent family?. They did nothing to deserve this! My life is meaningless.... Elizabeth was only 9... And mom... No... Anyone but her.... He cried into his hands until he couldn't cry anymore the whole time softly cradling his late sisters head..

Finally he got up... This was a message from the magistrate.... They would go to any means to hurt him.. He opened his eyes... This wasn't the end.
