*Courtney's POV*

I woke up by a girl screaming downstairs.... Holland.

I groan as I get up from my bed, before I can open the door Holland opens it, showing her excitement.

"What's up with you?" I ask her. "Well...TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY, WHAT DID YOU GET ME?!" She replied to me, jumping up and down.

Shit. I forgot today was her birthday! Think Courtney think...

"Um, I-I got it in my car, I'll give it to you later!" I lied. Sure I feel bad lying to her but if I tell her I forgot she'll scream at me and get all mad at me, believe me you don't wanna see her mad. AT ALL. "Oh! Okay! Can't wait!!" She excited said to me. Now, think of something to give to her... Barbies?... She loves them, I can't believe she's 17, I roll my eyes.

"What was that for?" Holland asks worried. "Oh, nothing just thinking of something"

"Tell me, I'm your best friend after all." She says. "Believe me it's nothing!" I tell her fast.

"Okay?" Holland says while eyeing me. Okay, a car? No, I can't afford that. Oh my god... Why why didn't I think of it before?! One Direction tickets. I have to check when they're coming though..

*Holland's POV*

I woke up at 9:00 AM because today was my birthday!! How cool is that!? I got out from my bed, went to the bathroom. When I was done with my "business" so I went to the kitchen. Nobody was there.... I got an idea.

I checked if nobody was watching, clear. I opened a cabinet, searching for Nutella. When I found it, I grabbed it and ate some with a spoon. After 2 minutes, I hear somebody coming. Shit. I quickly grabbed my spoon, immediately thinking of Liam. I smiled. Shit Holland! THE NUTELLA, HIDE IT YOU IDIOT. I mentally slapped myself, stop telling me what to do Kevin!

And yes... I named my brain Kevin cause... That's how I roll. When I was done hiding everything, I sat in a chair and playing with my hair. It was my older sister, Linda. She was 25 years old, yet looked so beautiful,

"Hey kiddo, what are you doing here so early?" She asked me.

"Well... Just sittin' here, getting ready to go to Courtney's.. Today is a special day right?" I replied and ask her. "Oh ok. And come on, I'm your sister, TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!" She screamed the last part. I hope mom didn't heard her. She hugged me. "Where's my present?" I asked her with my puppy eyes. "Don't have one. Oops. Butttttt I can give you $150 dollars." "Yes!" "Not now though. Ha." She laughed at me. Linda was getting her self some cereal. I ran upstairs, entered the bathroom and washed my teeth, brushed my hair. I exited the bathroom and went to my closet. "What do wear... Dress? Or, my spongebob tank top with blue shorts?.. Tank top and shorts is better. I quickly dressed up, grabbed my TOM's. I was ready. Oh! My purse, which had my glasses in it. Yes I wear glasses. Most of the time contacts.

I went to the garage and grabbed my bike. Sadly I don't drive that well... I know, SAD. I put on my helmet. What? I like being safe, you know. I quickly went to Courtney's.

The house keys were where a plant is, I grabbed it and opened the door. I started screaming. Yes,I know immature but that's how I'm. It was quiet. Too quiet. I ran to her room, slam the door, to find a sleepy Courtney. I gave my best smile and and showing excitement.

"What's up with you?" She asked me. "Well...TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY, WHAT DID YOU GET ME?!" I asked jumping up and down. "Um, I-I got it in my car, I'll give it to you later!" She lied. Look, I KNOW when she's lying to me. She gets wayyy to nervous. We chatted for a while.

We went downstairs, if you're wondering where her mum or dad are, well they always work they only come at midnight. I was going channel, to channel, to channel, etc. I saw the news. Ew. Courtney grabbed the TV control and turned it up.

"Hello, this is Danielle Perez from News 8. We are here in **** St reporting a cannibalism that occurred right here about 2 hours ago..." "Woah, I thought the news were boring shit, and did you heard that? CANNIBALISM! Wow. I think they were starving?" I said. "I know right, sick. What do you know, the world is FULL of surprises." She told me. I just nodded in agreement.

"Well, Holland, what do you want for your birthday?" She asked me trying to get me a present. " I thought you already had my present?" I backfired. She got tense. "Y-yeah but just making sure I got it right you know." She was nervous. "ONE DIRECTION TICKETS WILL BE THE BEST PRESENT EVER!!!" I yelled. "Calm down girl, well okay then!"

We eventually got tired of watching TV, so we went outside. Where? I don't know.

I checked my phone. 4:37 PM. Woah, time goes fast.

I stopped walking, Courtney looked puzzled. Until I pointed to them. That's when her eyes got wide.

Oh my god... I can't belive what I'm seeing.

O-one Direction is just one street from me. Lord help me.
