Trust has to be earned,it's not something that is just given to the person that requires it. You may think you trust someone but they could turn and stab you in the back,trusting a person is hard to do, friendship is usually based on trust, if it's broken... Were they your friend in the beginning?

(Parker PoV)
As I entered the school recalling the incident that just happened I was rather in shock,how rude could that boy Lucas be and who does he think he is bossing people around like that ?! To be honest he was no help at all, I was completely lost I had no idea where the school office was and I was getting some dirty looks of the majority of the students , there were no friendly faces about until...

"HIIII", I heard an excruciating Yelp in my ear. I yelled being rather scared of what had just occurred.

"Erm hi?"I said shyly having no clue who this girl was.

"Hi I'm Celest, it seems your new here and I couldn't help but notice that you look a little lost" this girl was rather beautiful she had ice blue eyes and beautiful blonde hair that came down to her hips, I mean she looked friendly and it seemed she was trying to to be nice which is something I hadn't experienced today.

"Yes I am rather lost you couldn't show me to the principals office could you?"

"Of course I can!! Right this way..." She replied squealing in in my ear once again.

"Parker"

"Of course right this way Parker"

I followed Celest as she happily skipped though the hallways. I Made it to the principals office and collected my timetable,today should hopefully turn out okay.
As I walked through the the halls with Celest to my first class maths, I was doing a mental eye roll the whole time walking to class. Taking a seat near the back of the class room pulling out my equipment and talking to Celest as i noticed Lucas enter the room he looked angry, he gave me a cold stare as he sat on the table a few rows behind.

"Are you checking out Lucas?" Celest asked concerned

"No definitely not, I just ran into him earlier." I responded

"Stay away from him" she replied in a strong tone

"Why?"

"He's weird and trouble, don't mix with him" she said sternly, she really didn't want me near this boy and I had no clue as to why.

I mean I wasn't planning on going near him after what happened this morning.

Maths was not my strong subject the lesson just seemed to drag and I wasn't feeling comfortable as I could feel Lucas burning holes in the back of my head with his eyes.The maths teacher would every so often ask if I knew the answer to a question my response was always a no, and then Celest would happily give him and answer, how was this girl pretty and smart she basically had the hole package! As the lesson was about to finish the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated out of school, I mean was I cursed or something this day couldn't get any worse than it already is. The principle sent out an apology to all students Then he gave us permission to leave and we were sent home early I hadn't even been at the school for 2 hours and we were already sent home.

Great.

I had to walk home seeing as Jared was at work as well as my mum, I mean I was new to this area which was mainly countryside and full of woodlands so I basically was lost trying to find my way home.I pulled out my phone trying to get signal but I had no bars, I was in a woods and lost , this was just NOT my day ,does the world hate me or something.

"WHAT DID I DO TO YOU WORLD!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

"Why are you so angry at the world?"
I had heard this voice before, it was not the voice I wanted to hear right now.I turned around to see a smug looking Lucas standing there with his arms folded.

"Why world you had to send him as well didn't you" I sighed under my breath so he couldn't hear me or well so I thought.

"What did I do, I could be your saviour and your complaining about me to the world"
This boy always had to make some smart ass comment didn't he.

" you know what I'd rather just leave and walk home without you bothering me so I'm gonna go..."

"Which way to your house is it?" He responded, I could basically see the smirk on his face from a mile away.He knew I was lost but I was in no position to fess up just yet.

"None of your business"I said stubbornly and turned around.

"You are a stubborn one aren't you,now let's get you to your house" he said coming up beside me grabbing my arm giving me a look , he walked me to my address which I was basically forced to tell him because there was no way I was getting home by myself.
We walked up to my house and we stood on the porch,he was looking of into the distance but I was staring at his perfect features on his face , why was this arrogant boy so damn good looking!

"Like what your looking at?" I could hear the smug in his voice

"Why are you such a cocky little bitch?" I replied with sass.

"Oh sorry... Didn't think I asked for what you thought of me"

Literally I can't stand this boy,what was his issue .We stood there for a little longer looking of into the forest that was outside my house taking in the cool country air when suddenly he let out a rather large sigh.

"Sh*t" I heard escape his mouth

"What?" I replied bluntly

" I have to go, I just remembered my erm my parents need to speak with me it sounded pretty urgent"his tone was rather serious and worried at the same time.

"Okay but I didn't hear them call maybe..."I replied I couldn't even say anything else as I turned to say goodbye he was gone as quick as anything.

I entered my house not thinking anything of the issue that just occurred outside,I turned on the tv and the news was on, I wasn't really paying attention until I heard a recent news report,

"Two teenagers were found dead this morning at 10:43am there was no sign as to what caused the killings but it seems that the two people took very serious Injury's to the neck, this was in the Blackwood forest we advise that people refrain from entering that area, if any information rises we will inform you all"

The Blackwood forest you have got to be kidding I can't refrain from entering it because I live in it, this really isn't how I wanted to be feeling right now I had moved here for a fresh start and people were dying in my area, great just great.
Then recalling the events I had just let Lucas wander off into these woods what if he gets hurt, I wouldn't want that to happen, I mean I don't hate anyone that much, but I don't know if I should trust him he just seems off...
