I flipped page after page as I tried to find at least SOMETHING that could help mr to figure out what has caused all of the recent diasters. I thought maybe, just maybe, a book of ancient lores and legends would at least contain a hint. But, I should have known I wouldn't get anything out of lores and legends. I'm an idiot for thinking otherwise. Sighing I looked up from the ageing pages - that were turning a dusty yellow, laced with fading ink - and I noticed how blurry our acoustic base appeared. I sighed and closed my eyes before softly rubbing them, maybe I need some more sleep. I only managed to get around two hours of sleep last night; multiple things were on my mind. Ranging from trying to figure out why all of these diasters are happening to the stress of not being good enough, not a good enough of a friend too.
"Switch....Are you still awake?" A grudgy male voice spoke out, ringing a little in the silent base
"Ye..*yawn*... yeah. I am" my voice croaked from lack of sleep
An unexplainable noise was the given response "how?"
"I don't know Mace"
Silence. I sighed and twitched my right ear. I closed the thick brown leather book and layed my head down onto the book's bumpy leather covering. Then it went black.
"-itch"
"-I! Swit-"
Upon being prodded and shouted at, I slowly blinked my eyes open and tiredly looked up at the pink, white and brown Stufful - Mace. I gave off a small grunt
"Bro, you actually blacked out! Thought I was gonna have to go get a doc."
"Eh,sorry... How long was I out?" I murmured and let out a sneeze, Mace sat next to me with his pae up to his nose; trying to add up and answer to my question.
"At least over an hour or two. I think"
I nodded at my partner's amswer. I stumbled to a stand and passed by the confused Stufful. I murmured a thank you and went to leave
"Where ya goin' cuz?"
"I wad gonna go for a walk... Did anyone drop by?" I noticed that there was a brightly tie-dyed book bag by the looming wooden entrance, it was slight covered by the black thick layered blanket we used as a door. Mace nidded and moved his way up by me, hr pointed out that Hayley and Anna - team Icessia - showed up earlier saying that we were going to meet up; but then I didn't appeared. So they decided to check in to make sure i wasn't dead. I cursed under my breath. I forgot that we had planned to meet up.
"Do you know where they are at the moment?"
