Leverage - The Family Job

Chapter 3

The job was an easy con, nothing compared to the white rabbit they pulled off before. They started heading back to the pub where Parker, Harrison and the twins lived.

"So what happened to you and Sophie after you left." Elliot asked Nate. Nate didn't even have the chance to open his mouth before Sophie started talking.

"We got married a month after we left you guys. It was magical!" Sophie exclaimed, but said that her family couldn't be there to see it in person. "a year later we found out I was pregnant with Oliver."

"I was extremely nervous about this because of what happened to Sam." Nate noted looking down in sadness when Sophie came over and hugged him from behind.

The teens were a bit confused as they didn't know who Sam was. Oliver was the first to question it out loud, "Who is Sam?" He asked with a hint os shyness in his voice not wanting to upset his parents.

Nate sighed and look at Sophie who nodded in approval. He began telling the story of his dead son and his ex-wife, Maggie. Sophie chimed in saying that Maggie was now a good friend of their's.

"What ever happens to Maggie, we haven't heard from her since you both left?" Parker questioned with a hint of worry written in her smile.

"I will check." Harrison replied grabbing his laptop and a bottle of orange soda. He was typing away when he suddenly spit out his soda.

"That was fast." Elliot spoke up.

"Age of the geek baby."

"What happens is Maggie ok?" Tara asked frantically.

"She is more than ok." Parker began, leaning over her husband to see what he found, "Maggie is married to the only and only, Stirling."

Sophie burst out laughing screaming that she knew it. Nate sighed and pull twenty dollars out of his pocket and handed it to her.

Once again the family was together, safe, and as happy as ever. They found Leverage.
