"No, that was not my fault! Just kill fucking, Frankie! But-Why me!" she yelled from the inside the bathroom. She growled loudly, so feisty... It sounded pretty sexy.
I looked at my pals, Zayn was texting Perrie, Liam was texting Sofia, Louis was texting Eleanor...and Niall was eating left over pasta from yesterday...as he cried for no reason while he stuck a mouthful in his mouth... Every one of them knew they couldn't say a word, so I guess they might be a little understanding with what I was feeling... and why they were so kept to themselves tonight.
Suddenly, the door opened slowly, and she stamped out, pulling out a desk chair and setting it in the corner of the room. She sat in it, crossing her legs as she quickly crossed her arms across her chest in frustration. No one said a word, they just all stopped what they were doing, and glared, intimidated.
She glared at me, her eyes dark and her expression as if she could kill, I smiled nervously at her, and she rolled her eyes, huffing a quick sarcastic chuckle before raising an eyebrow.
"Can I atleast get my own ro-" she spoke to herself suddenly, before she flinched, a very faint audible yelling from somewhere near her. She had an ear piece on... Her face reddened with defeat.
"No, god no." she murmured at a comment, shaking her head softly as she looked down at the floor.
"Alright, I'm sorry. Atleast call-" she was cut short. .. She didn't seem so superior now... and I guess that made me less intimidated.
"Thanks, I will..." she calmly replied, her lips pursed in what seemes to be sorrow.
As I glared, I just scanned her features, noticed how pretty she really is when she isn't being a bitch.
Her lashes were long, her hazel brown eyes were dark tonight- her face seemed tired. Her hair was slicked back in a messy bun, I looked at the line against her temple, and grimaced at the sealed wound.
She didn't seem to have much make-up on. Except some gloss on her lips, or maybe chapstick. She took well care of herself, I mean, her skin was full of some noticeably painful looking scars, but her face seemed to be spared at the most.
"Okay, Bye" she finished, looking up at the ceiling as she huffed. After a minute or so, she closed her eyes, and for a second, she looked so relaxed, so peaceful until she twitched back into reality and grimaced.
"Hey Liam, can..y-you throw this away for me?" Niall whispered besides me.
"Why can't you-" Liam had begun, and I could see the whimper on Niall's face as he eyed the girl, Nikki I should say.
Liam stood up slowly, and Nikki turned her head, smiling at him warmly as he threw away the disposable pasta plate.
"You guys, I'm sorry. Please don't be afraid... I'm here to keep you guys safe, last thing I need is for you all to feel so intimidated." she murmured, as she threw Niall a grin, signaling his obvious fear.
"Thanks," Liam said as he went to sit back down, his eyebrows rose, and he opened his mouth to speak, before closing it. Her laugh was light, yet so whole-hearted.
"What's up, Liam?" she said as she turned her chair a little, moving her hands to the armrest. Liam hesitated, before outting his hand behind his head.
"So, I know this may not be my business, but I was just wondering what's- Well, what are we going to do? " he asked, hardly able to say the right words, I knew where he was getting at.
"Of course you have every right to know." she nodded her head, her expression a little concerned.
"Well, good news is Simon will be back tomorrow to help us discuss this whole staying situation." she began, getting more comfortable in the chair.
