Ash returns with,

Bloody Mary Bye-Bye

Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary.

Those two words repeated three times were all it took to make our weekly Friday night sleepover the worst night of our lives. Worse than when three of our best friends were murdered by this thing named Ash Cole. As soon as those last words rolled off our tongues, a piercing scream filled the air and Jake dropped to the floor, holding his chest while howling in pain.

"Jake!" I fling the Hogwarts light switch on and drop down next to him.

"M...my ch...chest," he chokes out in between shallow breaths.

My eyes shift down to his chest area and what I see makes my stomach clench in horror. His grey shirt is sticky with dark red blood. A few puncture holes are over his ribcage and there's five claw marks across his stomach and side that shredded his shirt. I dig in my purse beside the bathtub for my black and green pocket knife—used for protection and emergencies of course. I flip it open and carefully cut the side of his shirt to get the cloth away from the wound. I slowly peel the bloody shirt away from his skin and it's worse than anything I've ever seen before. The claw marks have just about shredded his stomach, tearing flesh and creating a non-stop flow of blood. The puncture wounds I saw are multiple bite marks spread across his ribcage and sides. They ooze a river of scarlet blood and underneath the little bit of skin I can see, is a hint of mysterious green lacing it's way across his stomach and chest through his veins, growing darker and obviously dangerous.

"Venom...?" I whisper as the blood drains from my face and I swallow the lump forming in my throat while I try to stop myself from puking.

"What is this?! How did this happen?!" I scream.

"I... don't know..." Jake chokes out in between jagged breaths.

What do I do? What do I do?! The first aid kit! I grab some cloths and soak them in water before I gently press them to the wounds. I jump back up and open the cabinet above the sink. I throw pill bottles and everything I don't need into the tub until I spot the kit.

"Jake... I'm sorry but this is going to hurt," I tell him as I unscrew a bottle of disinfectant and kneel beside him.

I slowly pour it on the wounds and a green looking substance starts bubbling out. I wipe it away while Jake cried out in pain and mumbles a few curses. I repeat this until the green disappears. I start bandaging his torso, stopping the blood while forcing back tears.

"That's all I can do... I have to call 911. I'll be right back. I promise. Stay awake! Do something to stay away... uh... count to 100." I run out of the bathroom and look for a phone. I look on my dresser but it's not there. Weird... I could've sworn that's where we left them.

Bam!

I turn around and panic fills my body when I see the closed bathroom door. My heart starts pounding as if a woodpecker is inside my chest, trying to get out. "Jake!"

A scream pierces the silence.

"Jake!" I scream again before I throw my body against the door, forcing it open. The wounds are once again dripping blood. The room is a mess. Bottles, towels and just about everything that was once nice and neat are all over the place.

'YOUR TURN' is written all over the walls and mirror in dripping blood.

My eyes widen. "Jake... do you think it could be... her?" I ask in a shaky voice, thinking about the thing that's been tormenting my group of friends... it even killed three of them.

"T..trouble... run," he whispers.

"HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA!" Someone cackles.

There's a blur near the tub before the shower head turns on, soaking us in icy cold water. With a shriek, I jump up, turning the water off. I search for dry towels and when I find some, I wrap them around Jake as best as I can and fix the bandages. I give him a few pain killers while thinking up a plan.

"We need to leave. Now. Once we get outside, we can get help." I slowly help him up and he cries out in pain.

With most of his weight leaning on me, I reach for the door handle. Before I can open it, the door creaks open revealing Ash. Her red hair is sticking up all over the place. Her skin is grey, like ash and her eyes are completely black like the night with no white, making her look as if she has no eyes. She's wearing a long, dingy black shirt with rips in the back and black jeans with holes and dirt stains. An acrid smell like death coming off of her, filling up the room. She's looks exactly how Skylar described her. Something silver flashes in her left hand—a black dagger with runes across the blade.

She turns towards Jake with an evil grin plastered on her face. Before I can react, she screeches, "YOUR TURN!" and plunges the dagger into Jakes chest.

With a slump, he slides onto the floor. Blood soaks through the bandages and I drop to the floor beside him. "NO!" I scream and hold his dying body in my arms. "Don't leave me! Jake I need you please don't leave me! You're my best friend, Jake, please!" I hardly notice the smirking figure standing at the door. "I love you, Jake." Tears slide from my cheeks onto his.

"I... love you... Broo...klyn M..." he starts, before taking one last shaky breath and going still. A tear slips from his eye.

With a shaky hand, I close his eyes. I blink quickly and hold back a sob. "Goodbye..." I whisper and gently place his head on the floor. My head's fuzzy and my body's numb. I grab the dagger from his chest. I slowly stand up and face the monster in front of me. Anger flows through my veins.

"Yes, goodbye Jacob Scott," she grins.

She took my best friends from me. Skylar, Eleanor, Chase and now Jake. She's the reason my best friend is laying dead at my feet. I grip the dagger and hold it in front of me.

"I'll kill you. I don't know how, or when, but I'll find a way. Even if it's the last thing I do."

She vanishes into thin air, but her voice booms through the room. "As if you could kill me. Darling, I'm already dead. I've killed four of you, and I won't stop until I kill you all," she cackles. "But, don't worry Brooklyn Moore. You're next."
