(Goku;1) Brick Walls

I wanted to try something new. Let's see how this goes.
Sorry for all the Chi Chi fans or GoChi shippers. I never liked her or the way she treated Goku and Gohan.
Still working on the requests, just had to do this one, rummaging around my head.

You held your crying best friend in your arms, his son leaning on you for support.

None of you could believe what happened.

Chi-Chi had died.

For months, she had a terrible sickness raging within her body. On her death bed, she told you and Goku she didn't want to be wished back.

As much as it pained you, being such close friends with her, you abided by her last wishes.

Your sleeves were now tear stained, as your own fell down your face silently.

You leaned back into the wicker chair, unable to focus on anything but the sobs of Goku and Gohan. Words were unintelligible to you. Your eyes were blank. Your mind was blank. You were blank.

After the funeral, you had moved some of your stuff over to Goku and Gohan's. Goku hardly knew how to take care of himself, let alone his son too, so you were there to help.

You stared blankly at the TV, sitting on your socked feet. Goku sat next to you.

"H-hey."

"Hi Goku."

"What're you doing?"

"I was going to watch TV, but I can't lift the remote." You've never experienced grief before. Didn't know how it physically tolls on your body. You never knew what depression was before you lost someone close you. Before you knew it, your body wreaked with sobs, even though it caused you pain to move. Goku pulled you into his lap and you held on to the back of his gi, clutching it tightly within your fingers.

You felt his tears running your back, and held him tighter.

"I'll always be there for you, (Y/n)," he hiccuped. "I promise. If you need to talk, I'm here. I know she was a sister to you."

"Goku, she was your wife, if you need me, I'm here. D-don't be silly. This is much harder for you than me."

He held you close, without another word, tears slipping passed his closed eyes, thanking the stars and heaven above that he had you.
