Intro

Some people say that you choose who you fall in love with, whether it's a guy, a girl, your best friend, or even your teacher.

But that's all a lie.

You don't choose who makes you feel happy and safe.

You don't choose to feel warm when you're near them.

You don't choose for them to always be in your mind every single second of the day.

And even if you did choose, why would I choose Liam?

Sure, he's handsome and funny and he has those tattoos that are so fucking hot and- my point is why would I choose to fall in love with Liam?

You see, Liam is Niall's father. Niall being my best friend.

I don't really know why I like Liam, I just kind of... do. And I always have, really.

Maybe it's his eyes. His chocolate brown eyes that have that little sparkle in the corner... they resemble Bambi's, honestly.

Maybe it's his smile.

Maybe it's how he smiles.

Maybe it's how he smiles when Niall is practicing football (To Americans, "Soccer").

Maybe it's how he smiles when Niall says a stupid joke that isn't even funny.

Maybe it's how he smiles when Niall is laughing.

Or maybe it's the fact that his entire world revolves around Niall.

It's sweet, seeing a man be so involved with his son not to mention a man who will do anything for their child and is happy when they're happy and doesn't want them to be sad.

I'm not gonna lie, but seeing a good dad every once in a while is extremely sexy to me.

Yes, I am only seventeen but I'm responsible for my age. And although I can be a wisecrack at times (Okay, every day), I can be mature if I need to.

Like when I'm babysitting my cousins or when the zombie apocalypse comes (It's gonna happen, just wait).

And even though Liam is my best friend's dad, I still like him.

I've tried with everything in myself, to stop liking him in that way.

Praying, dating [The only way to get over someone is to get under someone else], eating, sleeping, drawing. I've even tried to marry Matthew McConaughey but I just ended up getting a restraining order filed against me.

Nothing seemed to work.

And I doubt anything ever will.

Read on if you want to, just expect the unexpected.

But nothing too unexpected like cancer and whatnot, that's just too extreme and out there.

But this is just a story.
