Stuck Inside With Johnny

It was a stormy night and I was waiting for my friend Johnny to come over. He's a really good friend of mine, just perfect.

"Hey sis when's Johnny coming over?" My older brother Darry yelled from upstairs. You could barely hear him with the pounding rain on the roof.

"He said he was on his way," I replied.

"Ok good because Ponyboy, Sodapop, and I have to leave soon to go to Dally's, and I don't want you to be left alone too long."

"Ok"

"Also tell me if he's bugging you and no funny business. Trust me, I'll know if you guys do something." He's says with a serious expression. Darry is so over protective.

"Darry! I promise We won't do anything like that."

"I know. But this is the first time I've left you at home with another male that wasn't me or your brothers." All of a sudden there was a knock on the door, "Come in!" I yelled.

"Hey." Johnny said. He took his black converse off and sat down next to me on the couch.

"Hi." I replied.

"Sodapop, Ponyboy! It's time to go! I'll be in the car." Darry shouted, and then walked out the door. Sodapop and Ponyboy then ran down the stairs and out the door and Sodapop said,"Bye sis, don't do anything I wouldn't do." And winked.

And then there were two. Just Johnny and I for the rest of the night.

"The rains really coming down, isn't it?" Says Johnny.

"I suppose it is." I reply.

"I like your outfit, it's really... nice." He's says with a smile.

I blush a little." Thanks. But it's nothing special, just ripped jeans and a v neck."

"But it's special because your wearing it."

Silence.

"Do you... want to watch a movie?" I say.

"Sure."

All of a sudden a loud lightning bolt sounded off and the lights flickered and went out.

I gasped and closed my eyes and hugged the pillow on the couch. Wait, why is this pillow so hard? I looked up and to my suprise it was not a pillow that I was hugging.

"A little scared darling?" Said Johnny.

I look up at him and instantly separated from him and scooched to the other end of the couch. Which really didn't do much, it was a small couch."N-no! It just suprised me that's all!" I said flustered.

"It's fine, lets go find some candles, the power could be out for a while." I nodded my head to his statement. For the next five minutes or so, we collected candles from around the house and then returned back to the tv room. We then lit the candles and then put them around us on the floor, careful to not put them near the carpet we were laying on.

"See, that's better. So, what do you want to do?" Johnny asked.

"I don't care, how about we just, talk." I responded.

"Ok that sounds good, what do you want to talk about?"

"I don't know, but before we start can I grab a blanket? It getting cold, the heater isn't running because of the power outage." I said with a shiver.

"Hear, just use my jacket." He said while shrugging it off and handing it to me.

"Are you sure? Now your going to be could silly," I said with a grin.

" I'll be fine as long as I'm with you." He said.

I blushed even more and he leaned in closer to me. I stared deeply into his chocolate brown eyes, they are so beautiful. He himself was so perfect.

"Johnny, I think I-"

All of a sudden I was cutoff by a pair of warm lips colliding with mine.

Johnny was kissing me.

Whoa.

I felt his hand on the back of my neck and a shiver went down my spine. I wove my hands through his soft hair and and closed my eyes in bliss, wishing this moment would never end. But it eventually did and we separated.

"Johnny I-"

"Shhh, it will be fine."

"But what about Darry, and Sodapop and Ponyboy? What will they say about us? Darry definantly won't approve." I say.

"It's ok we'll figure something out. Bailey, I've loved you for so long I just didn't have the courage to tell you." Johnny says with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes.

"I-I think I love you too, but I'm scared of what will happen with, well.... us."

He reached towards me and pulled me into his arms,"It's ok, we'll figure it out. For now let's just be together."

"Ok"
