Description: If you had to pick between your village and dream job, or the love of your life. Which one would you choose?
Story~~~~
When I was a little girl, I used to believe tomorrow brings a better day. My village was always happy, there were no ninja's because we saw no need for fighting. The village was more of a nature loving village, not a commercial village, and not a hidden ninja village.
Yet I always wanted more, they told me to appreciate what I had cause tomorrow brings a better day, but these are the memories, that will stay. A little poem my mom used to love, she raised us by the line. Well until I was five, that's when everything changed, people from the lighting villages had heard of our rich soil, and the gold that grew in. Something the people of my village, The Village of the Sun hadn't heard of, they began to kill us, I remember the women running, running as fast as they could carrying their childrens, dragging them along. Tears staining their now dirty faces from the times they may have fallen, or from the black smoke surrounding our village. I watched my family die, and when only three people survived, one of them being me, they went to the older ones. I pretended to act dead, they kicked me in the side but I didn't flinch, yet I was still breathing. 'Let's attack her, she'll live.' A medical-nin told them, they brought lighting down to strike me, and I redirected it, before they could recover from the shock, I ran, I ran as fast as possible. I was only five, and that day I had officially become a ninja. I guess wishes come true, in the weirdest and most painful ways, eh?
I stood in the meeting room, we hadn't put our masks on yet and were taking this time to relax. I sat back comfortably into one of the couches as my friend, Kaisa, sat down next to me. 'Tired from our last mission?' He chuckled to me and I nodded with a slight laugh, 'How ever did you guess?' I questioned him with a playful eyeroll, 'I wonder what we'll have to do next.' I sighed, I loved being an Anbu Black Ops but all the missions were the same. I wanted to travel! See the world! I wanted people to know my name, not my mask. 'Kae, I have an idea of what it is but I don't want the others hearing.' He said, we both looked both ways, 'Meet me at the bathroom in exactly 9.99 seconds.' He said as I nodded, I wait five seconds before teleporting there, it wasn't uncommon for the Anbu to randomly teleport.
I walked into the bathroom, and saw Kaisa there, he checked his small watch. 'On time, exactly, as always.' He chuckled, and I smiled, 'Okay so what happened?" I questioned him, he got closer, like really close and whispered, 'Okay get this, they are picking the top elite five anbu, it's gonna take five of us, the most elite, to capture this guy named Pein. Apprently he's after a bunch of the people who have the tailed beasts within them. They have around three already so they need the other six. They don't want to tell anybody the elite ninjas because their afraid of scaring the others.' I gasped, was it that serious that it could scare some of the Anbu Black Ops? 'Don't repeat anything. Understand?' He asked and I nodded, 'They also want those five to pretend to join the Aktasuki and join their trust, then one of them would take a walk with Pein and we'd ambush him there. Everyone would have to becareful, I mean afterall it's a bunch of S-Ranked criminals.' He whispered softly, yet there was an edge to his tone. 'I understand.' I whispered back as we rushed to the meeting room. We put our masks on, the head of the Anbu walked in, she looked over us,
'Would Kae Farron come to my office. If any of the Anbu Black Ops are caught lurking around my office while I speak to her, you will be punished with death. Three guards shall be posted outside the door, I expect you to respect my orders. Understood? Now Kae please follow me.' She said as I walked respectfully five feet behind her. We walked into her spacious office which actually had a lot of windows to my suprise. She motioned for me to sit down, 'Please take off your mask, no need for formailities in here.' She said and I nodded, removing my mask.
