Just One Puff
She once was so high
Like an angel in the sky
But then she fell
Too deep to get out
Just one puff
Was all it took
She sold her soul
To the demons inside
They told her it was like heaven-
The best place to be
They dressed up as angels
And took her up high
They made her feel good
And numbed all her pain
But she had no idea
What was behind their disguise
Until the day
She let them take over
They took her too high
She feel, crashing down
She laid there, paralyzed
As she looked to the sky
And saw what was behind
The beautiful disguise
They were hideous and terrifying
As they came soaring down
They wrapped their hands around her throat,
Sucked the air from her lungs
Now she's in the sky
But not as an angel, flying so high
She trusted what was wrong;
She thought it was right
The angels betrayed her
As the demons took over
And stole her soul
With just one puff
