Yearning for connection's goal.
No compass held, no guiding light,
Just endless dark, a starless night.
Then, whispers soft, a gentle breeze,
A kindred spirit swaying trees.
Tentative steps, a nervous smile,
Wings unfurl, a vibrant hue,
The cage I built, with walls so high,
Crumbled to dust beneath a friendly eye.
Tears that flowed, a cleansing rain,
Washing away the lonely pain.
Goodbye to walls, my spirit takes flight,
Soaring high with newfound light.
Friendship's embrace, a joyful song,
Together we'll fly, where we belong.
